Re: Microchips could unlock-the future
I'm assuming this is along the vein of Revelations. Revelation talks about a mark. Enforced by economic threat. Decreed by the beast. I'm not sure if chips qualify as a mark or what the beast is that Revelation referred too. Revelations reads very cryptic.
No doubt these basic technologies are the start. They seem inevitable in a cashless society. There is so much I.D theft. I'm changing my security passwords so many times; it's such an annoyance sometimes, after 1-2 hours on the phone with someone from India, I almost wish I was chipped. criminals could easily rob people to steal their chips though. And it would be terrible.
I think these kinds if things are the start of something bigger.
I would expect them to sell this to people in the private sector as a "good cause" .... E dog tags , life alert , opening doors etc.
To get them acclimated..

The mark of the beast is probably either more or less advanced then the chip. It has to be something that someone can't cut out of themselves, a permanent mark, that once taken, cannot be removed.

Re: Microchips could unlock-the future
What scares me is how angry God will be towards Satan because of this act, because of the severity of it. Not saying the devil doesn't deserve it though.
If we were God, how mad would we be?
If we were God, how mad would we be?

Re: Microchips could unlock-the future
God is love, he can never be mad.
People treat facts as relevant more when the facts tend to support their opinions. When the facts are against their opinions, they don't necessarily deny the facts, but they say the facts are less relevant or insignificant. This is ofcourse because believing things that make you feel comfortable, takes a priority. And I think that should not be the case if one is after truth.

Baloney, a parent or supervisor like a teacher can love their kids or students and get mad.neo-x wrote:God is love, he can never be mad.
The bible, even the Gospels, show that God can get very angry just like very happy.

Re: Microchips could unlock-the future
God is not a parent or a supervisor per se. It is his relationship and even that is because there is no other way to best explain God's love with us. Attaching emotions to God is easy but I think it's a substantiation to perhaps fill the logical gaps.

Re: Microchips could unlock-the future
Anger is a human emotion.
When someone says that God is angry, it's attributing human emotions to God.
Neo is right. God cannot be mad, as we understand mad.
God doesn't have emotional reactions. God is unchanging.

Love does punish, it corrects, and it inflicts wrath...neo-x wrote:God is love, he can never be mad.
Pro 17:12 NKJV, Let a man meet a bear robbed of her cubs...
Hos 13:4-9 "Yet I am the LORD your God Ever since the land of Egypt, And you shall know no God but Me; For there is no savior besides Me. 5 I knew you in the wilderness, In the land of great drought. 6 When they had pasture, they were filled; They were filled and their heart was exalted; Therefore they forgot Me.7 "So I will be to them like a lion; Like a leopard by the road I will lurk;
Hos 13:8 I will meet them like a bear deprived of her cubs; I will tear open their rib cage, And there I will devour them like a lion. The wild beast shall tear them.
Hos 13:9 "O Israel, you are destroyed, But your help is from Me. NKJV
Th greatest error is to measure God's love by human standards that teach that love will never condemn, convict, correct, discipline, or inflicts wrath, or will ever hold anyone to account and paint a picture of God as the same way.
Love angered - none cane stand against that... try to take a bear cub from its mother to find out...
The first stage of God's wrath is mentioned in Psalms 81:12, "So I gave them over to their own stubborn heart, To walk in their own counsels." NKJV
Romans chapter One states the same. The testimony of the bible speaks of this as well. This is done to see who will return to God from those who exploit God's good character and those who reject God completely. God's love protects his own. We may suffer in this life, but heaven awaits us and there - no more of those who exploit God's good character and reject God him to ruin heaven. That is what Love does.
Love often wounds in order to bring true healing and soundness back into ones life. Lets not forget that.

By definition, emotion:
Emotions are derived from circumstances. Which means we have a reaction to certain circumstances. To say on one hand that God is unchanging, and on the other hand say that God has emotions, is contradictory.a natural instinctive state of mind deriving from one's circumstances, mood, or relationships with others.

Re: Microchips could unlock-the future
Then how come God can change his mind and feel sorry for his creation? Hmm?
I think it meant that God's character never changes, but He most certainly interacts with His creation?
