Desired result:
personA wrote:text A
The source code behind it is below (only replace round brackets with square brackets)

(quote="personA")text A(/quote)

If you want to have a quote in a quote like this one
personB wrote:
personA wrote:text A
reaction B
Make sure the code has proper number and proper order of quote brackets. See below

(quote="personB")(quote="personA")text A(/quote)reaction B(/quote)

One can use quote button when replying to a post. But then make sure of the proper structure. Also, if yo want to insert a name the ="person" will do the trick.

Happy quoting :)

Or show code:

Code: Select all

[quote="personB"][quote="personA"]text A[/quote]reaction B[/quote]

Once in the POST A REPLY window, it is easier if you right click on the text you want to quote; then, drag the cursor over that text and it adopts a blue backgound, the click the QUOTE box in the upper right-hand corner of the person's post.

If you want to quote the whole text, just right-click the QUOTE button in the upper right-hand corner of the person's post.

Try it! it's easy! if a dummy like me can figure it out, an intelligent Chinadoll can do so as well.
