Re: The Sabbath, to keep or not to keep....
Which of the 10 commandments says "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind" ? Which of the 10 commandments commands to "Love your neighbour" ? There's only 10...I didn't think it was that difficult to decifer. Commandments 1-4 dictate how to interact with/worsh...

Re: Total Depravity
If a man is totally depraved, which means TOTALLY morally corrupt, how can he choose Christ?

Re: Ham vs Ross (again)
Jac, thanks for posting that link. It's always great to see Hugh Ross in a debate. I really admire the patience and grace that Ross has. He sat through the entire debate with Ken Ham constantly interrupting him, and continually misrepresenting what Hugh Ross believes. Seeing that this debate was re...

Re: Evolution and Intelligent Design
... there really aren't any signs of evolution today. If evolution were true, what signs would you expect to find? Actually, since evolution is simply a change in a living organisim that allows it to better adapt to it environment so as to survive better, we do see this in viruses on a pretty regua...

Re: The Mark Of The Beast - Where does "faith alone" come in
Paulsacrameno; I understand what you are saying regarding works. I believe that while salvation is by faith (as do you), that if one has sufficient time to live, after accepting christ, then he will eventually "change" hence the requirement of repentance which means "change". So...

Re: Shroud of Turin
Remember also Paul, that c14 has been wrong in dating other relics and in this situation archeologists go with the proponderence of evidence that leans heavily on authenticity, and in the case of the shroud it is massive. The church got played in 1988 by the secular atheists. They are very cautious...

Re: The Mark Of The Beast - Where does "faith alone" come in
I don't see how faith in Christ can NOT produce good works, can you? I see believers, including myself, not producing the works they ought to everyday. How about you? Of course you are saying works are required. The only difference is that you are sneaking them in the back door. That works WILL/MUS...

Re: Shroud of Turin postby Philip » Mon Jun 11, 2012 2:26 pm Then I think the church needs to rethink what all that serious evangelism might include. Are we not commanded to provide evidences? Or does God just tell us to merely explain what the Bible says and and then exhort people to, "just be...

Re: spontaneous creation
Well, unless life can come to be on its own with NO external influence what so ever, then there will always be a "first cause". Unless some scientist somewhere makes a vacuum and, with no help from anything, life suddenly happens, then the question of How life came to be will never be ans...

Re: The Mark Of The Beast - Where does "faith alone" come in
As does John5:24-29 24“Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life. Paul, I don't know how simple that is. You are saying works are required either way. Should we not revise ...
