The fact that the Trinity was approved by the NIcean Council in manner similar to an 'earmark' in modern day politics, as we...

Re: What is scientology?
It only took me about a minute of reading L. Ron Hubbard's "Dianetics" to realize scientology is totally in comaptible with Christianity.
I flipped open to page they page that said "Man is basically a good creature".

Re: Infinite universe?
Well, it's nothing but pure speculation as to whether anything existed before the Universe was created by the Big Bang.

Re: Infinite universe?
Yes...it's called the Big Bang Theory, which says the Universe came into being at a past time via an 'external causal agent'.tommyboy605182 wrote:
my question is, is there any true PROOF against an ageless universe?
The 2K background radiation predicted by the Big Bang Theory was confirmed in the early 1990's.

There is also a good book by Ralph Mancaster(sp?); the title of which escapes me at the moment.
Another good site is Reasons To Believe which is headed by astronomer Dr. Hugh Ross.
Ross' video "Journey To Creation" is quite good.

KJV 13:30 Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done. I am hoping that I read this wrong and it does not apply to Revelations or the end times. Thanks, Denny Mark 13:30 , "Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these ...

You've probably seen the Google advertisement: The Bible reveals next and last Pope will be a devil impersonating John Paul II ... http://www.worldslastchance.com/index.php?p=next_and_last_pope.php Puritan Lad once used the term 'Chicken Little eschatology'. Re: The Christmas Star
Why is it called a "Christmas star", since it didn't appear when He was born? Or did it appear when He was born, but it simply took the wise men 2 years to find Him? :econfused: It probably only took the wise men a couple months or so to travel from Persia to Judea to find the Christ Chil...

Well, I'm brand new to this particular forum, but by the looks of it, you'd cut and paste the link, highlight it, the click the URL button to insert the appropriate HTML to add a link.
To cut and paste....well just highlight the paste, right-click, and and cut.

Re: Best Bible Translation?
There is no perfect translation of the Bible into English. And some translations are biased by whatever denomination penned them.
To really study a particular passage it is best to use a Strong's Concordence and look-up the original Greek or Hebrew.
