Re: Is there a God?
Kenny I don't think you fully appreciate what K was saying...there are laws which remain constant and same. Why are these constant in your opinion? Do you mean like the law of Gravity? I do know enough about Gravity to explain how and why it works the way it does. I really don't know but I do know ...

Re: Atheism: Belief or Position?
We would call you weak agnostic, maybe? Agnostic is defined as the belief that it is impossible to know if God does or does not exist. I believe that is a flawed term as well! The person who coined the term Agnostic made the mistake of assuming when you speak of God you are talking about the Christ...

Re: Atheism: Belief or Position?
So guys, is atheism a belief or a position or both or neither? What is your opinion? please care to cite reasons for what you believe the case to be. I believe there are many different ways various people define Atheism. Personally I don't even think atheism should even be a word! Nobody should be ...

Re: Is there a God?
I make this post in this forum as the many reasons presented also positively challenge a non-belief position. So I came across a blog post/article I'd like to give some attention. A former Atheist, Marilyn Adamson, presents 6 reasons why she now believes God exists and that Christainity is most pro...

Re: Pro-Life: The Logical Stance
Physically, how would it be possible before conception? Well if sperm is alive thus life begins before conception; I guess the question becomes when does this life become human. If you say it becomes human at the moment of concpetion I ask how is it different the moment before conception vs the mom...

Re: Pro-Life: The Logical Stance
I've said in the past, and I'll say it again, pro-life on unborn is not a religious issue. If you are a logical free-thinking Atheist or Agnostic, then I encourage you click your brains into gear and read over this blog: http://blog.secularprolife.org . Don't follow like sheep what mass media want ...

Re: Can Atheism Stand On Its Own Two Feet?
I decided to just spend a few minutes thinking of things Atheists often say and claim, which I don't believe Atheism can actually support. Atheism is kind of funny. We all naturally tend to believe certain things like being able to know truth, morality--some things really are bad like perhaps the c...
