Re: A simple method on how to know God and get your own answ

Hmmm, after reading this thread again, I think if we add the doings of Satan into the mix then the analogy of our relationship to our own children is a little more comparable to God's relationship to humanity. The disruptor affects both Man's relationship to God and Man's relationship to his childre...

Re: Love for Jahovah's Witnesses

I really don't have any problems with anyone of any religious faith as long as they are respectful and at least try to do right in this world. I don't care if they're JW's, Muslims, Atheist, or whatever, as long as they're not devil worshipers or practitioners of witchcraft and stuff like that. Oth...

Re: Love for Jahovah's Witnesses

Thanks Paul. I'm always wary of the JW's. Here are some more observations...... (i) I have a "DO NOT KNOCK" sign on my front door. And guess who ignores and sign ? The JW's and the Mormons. (ii) Once you chat with the JW's, they note down your address and mark you as a potential target for...

Re: A simple method on how to know God and get your own answ

I read somewhere that in the Ancient Greek literal translation of the bible, there is no such words as "eternal damnation" but instead its "damnation for a very long time". Here is the link if someone wants to go through it - > http://books.google.com.au/books?id=NpkXAAAAYAAJ&...

A simple method on how to know God and get your own answers.

Its a little obvious. But I will tell you anyway. Here we go... Step 1. Assume we are made in God's image (I'm too tired to look up the bible reference at the moment). Step 2. Since we are created by God (in his image) we should also be able to create as well, e.g. by giving birth to our own childre...

Re: Why is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit an 'unrepentable' si

I think this link will help answer this: http://www.gotquestions.org/blasphemy-Holy-Spirit.html - - Thank you for that link, I'm still trying to 'reason' it out (if reason is at all possible). It seems that Blasphemy is "the act of attributing the work of the holy spirit to the work to the dev...

Re: Why science will never answer questions related to God.

Does worshiping the Creator belong in the religious section of the library only or does it pervade into every facet of our life, such as what we perceive in science and nature? I reckon the latter (or both). I don't exactly know why. Maybe its that you start recognizing everything as being the work...

Why is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit an 'unrepentable' sin ?

Blaspheme against Jesus and you could be forgiven. Blaspheme against God and you can still be saved. But mess with the Holy Spirit and its eternal Ka-put-ski for you ! Matt 12:31, "Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against th...

*GRACE*

I've been studying Grace....here's what I dug up on the Net...(sorry some of the url-references didn't copy across) A person is either [ref.]:- (i) under the law or (ii) under Grace. Grace, Definition, [ref.]:- Unmerited divine assistance given to humans for their regeneration or sanctification, [re...

Re: Love for Jahovah's Witnesses

Hey, I just had a chat with the JW's last week. We talked and talked and talked for over half an hour at my front door. I actually enjoyed talking with them. They are exceptionally well-equipped with counter-arguments for everything related to their teachings which may seem to contradict the new-tes...

Re: Why science will never answer questions related to God.

St Paul says something akin to this in <a target="_blank" data-purpose="bible-reference" data-version="kjv1900" data-reference="Ephesians 4.18" href="http://biblia.com/bible/kjv1900/Ephesians%204.18" class="rtBibleRef">Ephesians 4:18. KJV<...

Why science will never answer questions related to God.

An Allegory...... The was once a wise old man, very dedicated to his work at university. He had many children and was the most clever and loving man you could ever imagine. This father went about and created, in his computer laboratory, a computer simulation of the Universe. This simulation was perf...
