Re: Free will and All loving vs. Predestination and Devine *

BUT... lol, these topics are quite serious and vital to SALVATION, (Heaven or hell)... if were predestined then well it doesn't matter if we chose God or not, or if we live how we want to, at the end of the day GOD is Ruler and will choose, or because of His calling and influence and the work of the...

Re: Free will and All loving vs. Predestination and Devine *

Katabole, are you speaking of the preadamite world??? To everyone else: Does God knowing (foreknowledge) our choices and decisions (freewill) mean that its predestined, or that He just simply knows? Ex: If I will except Him or not, He hasn't chosen for me but knows what I will choose? or is that way...

Re: Free will and Omniscience

How can freewill be freewill if our freewill aligns with predestination? If its predestined then freewill or whatever you want to call it will come to pass... So lets say I'm about to make a choice or so I think, yet the choice I will make is all planed (predestined) then did I really make that choi...

Re: Free will and Omniscience

Yes, and yes... thanks for that link. I'm going to reread it a couple times. All along even from my original post I guess my intent was to prove both or to figure the common ground of how they actually compliment each other. Just one question? Did God give freewill to adam or did God predestine and ...

Re: Free will and Omniscience

sometimes it takes a nut... I assume a newbie that may by freewill/predestination come to this site and this particular thread would argue we are all nuts lol  I like Dan Corner personally but again was just sharing a link... I'm however, still confused. In fact in my efforts searching an answe...

Re: Free will and Omniscience

So is He all knowing or not... I'd say He is or at least that was my take from my first post in this thread... but if my freewill choice can and or has the ability to surprises God in the sense He doesn't truly know if I will accept His Son or Not than does He not know everything. What about liberta...

Re: Free will and Omniscience

I've just never even questioned it to this degree... so my original post aside on a small scale here is what I'm concerned and having difficulty with. 1)Free will, would that not mean at times if its indeed absolute free will choice that GOD doesn't know everything? 2)Predestination, would that not ...

Re: Free will and Omniscience

I'm concerned this thread and the other one alike this one is doing more harm then good... I'm not even wanting to post anything I believe or my interpretation now because from what I first posted I'm no longer even sure of. Yet I want to leave and not read no more but I find this thread consuming a...

Re: Free will and Omniscience

I don't know but at some point and time our freewill aligns with His absolute and perfect will... in which case now I believe we haven't even touched on the difference in Gods permissive will and His absolute perfect will. Is it not predestined for us to choose Him? ...but then again reading through...

1 John 1:9 God is fair and just (Sovereign Ruler); believers are predestined (We have to be called) God chooses, however unbelievers are in hell due their own choice (freewill). God knows everything, you cannot fool, trick, nor deceive Him. He gives us the freewill choice to choose... whatever that ...

Re: What exactly is "repentence"?

Okay, again just asking for studying purposes.... is it your stance the two are separate and do not have to be inner twined. Have one and not the other... why would one ever repent (change their mind) of their unbelief, because the only reason they would-would be because now they believe (faith) in ...
