Re: God, from concept to existence
If thoughts were real I would be a billionaire; I am not. Thoughts aren't real, they are only imaginary. So, was this thought (your statement about thoughts being imaginary) imaginary? If so, give us a reason we should consider any thought you have to share? As I said, self-defeating. Thanks for se...

Re: God, from concept to existence
So you gonna tell a materialist (someone who only believes material exists) that something other than material exists and it is responsible for creation? That would be like telling a person who does not believe in Unicorns that Unicorns exist and is responsible for creation. Your first order of bus...

Re: Just came back from a service that made me doubt my fait
I'm with the OP. You'll never find anything in the bible that says, "go to church." We are cursed with this concept in our vernacular. The church is the body of Christ. Not a building, not a denomination, an institution or an organization. It isn't, it isn't, it isn't. Yes, believers shoul...

Re: Simplicity Book FINISHED!
Chris,
Couldn't you release it as an ebook? I buy a lot of stuff for $3 or $4 bucks on Kindle and Amazon.
No printing costs to deal with. Just the initial overhead on publishing for print means you have to sell x number to make it financially feasible.

Re: Simplicity Book FINISHED!
Chris, reading through the revision, but still see something that doesn't read quite right on the 2nd sentence of the intro.
It reads, "It is one that goes the very nature of what He......"
Should this read, "It is one that goes to the very nature of what He....."

Re: Simplicity Book FINISHED!
Chris, Just finished. Congratulations! Great work. I know this was a difficult and important task for you. I think this will go a long way in answering a lot of misconceptions about DS and challenge the modern church to confront why it has abandoned this doctrine in favor or substitutes that create ...

Re: Doctrine of Hell
here is a verse that say people are tormented for ever and ever Revelation 14:11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. I hate that people will be tormente...

Re: The theory of Evolution
I already know there is no evidence anybody who accepts evolution can give that proves, shows or demonstrates scientifically life evolves. It has been proven countless times that life evolves. The theory of Evolution plays a major part of modern medicine. K Kenny there is evidence that life adapts a...

Re: salvation and works
No but I believe God gives people a space to repent because we are human. But if we do not repent even after God has given us time to repent. Then how can you say you still love God? As Christians we may find our selves not pleasing God but when we do we will repent and continue following Jesus's s...

Re: The Life and Morals of Jesus of Nazareth
If someone claimed to be the son of God, and also claimed that he would rise from the dead, and didn't, then why on earth would be give such a lunatic's teachings any credence?
