Re: Why do many christians not like homosexuals?
I have a former student who has declared his homosexuality after he graduated. I still really like him and love him, but I cannot accept what he is doing. He is an awesome person and I still talk to him but I can't condone his actions or his acceptance of it.

Re: Molinism discussion
It just seems that this all comes down to the fact that none of us will no for sure. These are great discussions and are certainly fruitful because I think the tension is needed. It's the tug of war that helps keep the Church flexible and always searching.

Re: John Wesley's theology
LOL, I am not disagreeing with anything you have said, but they don't address my concerns, do they? My point was that God calls louder to some than others, which either means He intentionally varies His invitation based on the person or He just wanted to do things differently. But considering how ze...

Re: John Wesley's theology
Agreed Byblos, One has to ask if God has made people with different degrees of faith, belief, stubbornness, willingness to believe, etc....Are some people more "in tune" to God's voice? Sure, the degree to which Paul/Saul, for instance, needed convincing is far different than the Samaritan...

Re: Evolution/ID/Creationism in the Classroom
That's pretty rare...most Universities wouldn't bring up ID unless it was to point out the flaws. Also went through undergrad and grad bio programs.

Re: Being a virgin for money value?
Just to clarify my position, I believe, as most Christians would, that sex was created as a beautiful, intimate act that was designed to be experienced in a committed monogamous relationship defined as marriage. In this context, the greatest of trust and intimacy would also give rise to the greatest...
