Re: New to morality
I'm confused... Me too. I believe it's in Ephesians (either Eph. 5 or Eph. 6) where Paul writes to submit to your Government's rules and such. This might be the bible verses you are thinking of... 1 Peter 2:12-16 , "...Keep your conduct among the Gentiles honorable, so that when they speak aga...

Re: New to morality
Morality is man made. Who says I should abstain fron taking a plant(Cannabis)? Man or God? The answer is Man. How wrong is that. It flies in the face of what God gave man. Plants to eat and enjoy. It's only your government who trully tells you what is moral and what is not. I disagree, that is a de...

INNOCENCE IS PRICELESS
One Sunday morning, the pastor noticed little Randy standing in the foyer of the church staring up at a large plaque. It was covered with names, with small flags and military insignias mounted on either side of it. The six-year old had been staring at the plaque for some time, so the pastor walked u...

Re: This bio-chip and the Mark of the Beast
There are other things to look for to assist in what may be the mark of the beast. Other events will be happening also, i.e the Temple will be rebuilt, there will be PEACE between all nations including Israel, there will be one leader over there in the middle East, such and so forth. Now if a centra...

Re: A HAUNTING
I agree... Yes, ghosts are real. However, they (IMO) are not the spirits of dead people. They are actually demons, deceiving those who don't know the truth, into believing that the spirit lives on after death, and can be "trapped" here on earth. While I don't necessarily think it's wrong t...

Re: the need for a bible
W3RD If the Bible is just looked on as physical ink on paper and bound with leather, then it falls apart upon examination. A step further than physical ink and paper, bound, is literal interpretation--that is, just observing what it says--the images it paints, the stories it tells. This, too, will f...

Re: Why Did The Creator Choose the Jews?
You'll need to explain that to me a little more to be sure I'm understanding you correctly. I think every word in the Bible is purposefully there for a reason and that as believers we have a responsibility to look at that and seek to understand why God has it there. Not every word of the Scripture ...

Re: Jesus and family
since the bible seems to be so big on genealogies OK I realize I have butchered out only section of the previous comment But my question is on genealogies. Isn't the main reason for the genealogies to show the blood line from Adam, to Jesus? So having said that I think the Bible isn't really big on...

Umm,
How do we know that Wednesday is not the first day of the week and Tuesday is not the seventh?
It only says that the 7th day is the Sabbath and to keep it holy, not Saturday or Sunday is the Sabbath.
