Re: Where art thou apologetics...

I`m fairly new to all of this, I have always believed in something but was never sure enough to say it was God. Coming here, reading the threads and the stuff on the homepage was instrumental in me accepting Christ. It was the scientific "proof" about God that persuaded me. I totally get where you`...

Where art thou apologetics...

Has anyone else lived in a city or country where there seems to be little to no emphasis on knowing why you believe what you believe. From my experience, the only real apologetic we have here is one of experience. Which to me seems shaky. It's just my experience against your experience. Science does...

Christians and entertainment

How do you guys personally judge what is ok to watch and what is not. Do you let the Holy Spirit just guide you.. as it could be different for everyone... For example every christian may say watching Porn is wrong but what about two actors who are both married..and not to each other.... kissing each...

Re: Feeling the Love of God

God uses his free will to limit it by giving us free will.

Gods love has to also be seen in the light of eternity.. not just in the here and now. Understanding the big picture not just a snippet of job losing everything at once.

Re: Feeling the Love of God

Its more complicated than the rape analogy though. There is free will etc we don't know how much God can intervene in circumstances. He can do anything but He himself has limited himself in order to give that free will. The analogy of God being like a father to us the way psalms describes is limited...
