Re: Atheist forums
As I alluded to before, I'm not a mean or angry enough person to be atheist. Hate seems to be their only weapon

Re: Atheist forums
After visiting another forum, I've come to the conclusion that some people are just hate-mongers... Sad really.

World becoming increasingly atheist
I saw a news story today about how religion is dying out in countries like Sweden, Canada, New Zealand, among others. Why would this trend be happening given that christianity can stand strong against the "science" that attempts to disprove it?

Bible says to hate homosexuals?
In a debate with an atheist friend of mine, he said the Bible tells Christians to hate homosexuals. I searched and searched but couldnt find it. That's not really in there is it?

Re: Bible as God's word
This is to jlay, my study has probably not been that productive, I've read a number of articles by theists and atheists alike. Based on these articles, of which I cannot remember many, my faith has been strengthened, but I would say I succumb to peer pressure, if someone attacks my beliefs indirectl...

Re: Bible as God's word
Perhaps I did not word this correctly, or maybe the first time I was actually stumped by an atheist in debate freaked me out a little. Then again, as has been pointed out, I don't know why it affected me so much. I guess philosophy, which is what that debate turned into, is not a strong suit of mine...

Re: Bible as God's word
What I meant is that I think it is possible that maybe the people who were writing the Bible did not understand what it was God was trying to say, and, as a result, there may be some misconceptions or inaccuracies in scripture. Of course, I don't think we'd ever find out. That was a loooong time ago.

Bible as God's word
I was debating an atheist friend of mine, and in an attempt to disprove God, he tried to argue about the Bible's authenticity. When I admitted that I personally believe that some parts of the Bible were not recorded the way God intended, he tried to say, what if all of it was " made up". I...

Afterlife
So I was having a debate with a couple of atheist friends of mine and they kept trying to say that religion was made up because people fear death. Honestly though, that has crossed my mind, but I find that some of the things Jesus taught were not what I would have said if I were trying to make mysel...

Macroevolution
So I'm watching a debate between William Lane Craig and Christopher Hitchens, and they start talking about macroevolution vs microevolution. I have read the page on the main site concerning the two, and science isnt my forte, so a lot of it didn't really click. If anybody could give me a good explan...

Atheist forums
So I visited an atheist forum today, and an article about Jesus caught my eye. They supposedly had proven Jesus never really existed. What do you all think?

It would appear the OP is not interested at all in any of this.
