Re: Is Schizophrenia a form of Demonic Posession ?

I think that some of the time it can be possession and some of the time not, it really depends on each individual case. Take this case for example: agr-clNBdJc This man was literally insane, and was about to have lobotomy type surgery (this was still legal in the 1970's) that would leave him in a ve...

Re: Shroud of Turin - Summary of Evidence for its Authenticity

Can anyone confirm if this is old news, or has been debunked/verified. The Shroud’s Oscillating Man ... In short, the documentary, based on the work of scientists in Sicily, claims to have made new discoveries about the Shroud based on “photogrammetry” — the science of making distance measurements o...

Science says liberals, not conservatives, are psychotic

Science says liberals, not conservatives, are psychotic Turns out liberals are the real authoritarians. A political-science journal that published an oft-cited study claiming conservatives were more likely to show traits associated with “psychoticism” now says it got it wrong. Very wrong. The Ameri...

Re: Justices side with Colorado baker on same-sex wedding cake

Stu - I'm not outraged, but I disagree with the decision. It was a narrow one, though, so I don't think that we're looking at an America where Christians can do whatever they feel like while hiding behind religious privilege. That's something, at least. I'm not familiar with the coffee shop thing a...

What about the guy who kicked a man out of his coffee shop just because he was a Trump supporter? You just as outraged about that?

Re: Princeton and Yale Psychiatrist on Demonic Possession

The catholic church keeps detailed records of exorcisms and has a specific process of dealing with them , so it makes sense that they would be the ones referenced in the article. Yes but many of the processes they use are man-made, not Biblical. So it would have no effect on demons. They even state...

Justices side with Colorado baker on same-sex wedding cake

Some good news. Justices side with Colorado baker on same-sex wedding cake WASHINGTON (AP) -- The Supreme Court ruled narrowly Monday for a Colorado baker who wouldn't make a wedding cake for a same-sex couple. But the court is not deciding the big issue in the case, whether a business can invoke re...

Re: Princeton and Yale Psychiatrist on Demonic Possession

Unfortunately they mostly reference Catholic exorcism which is about as worthless as a normal bottle of shelf bought water.
Only the name of Jesus can remove demons, not the hocus pocus man-made stuff the Catholic church has come up with.

I am going to do my best to show biblically why the Gap Theory is true biblically and show why critics are wrong or do not have proper understanding of Gap Creationism.I am going to try to not only show why the Gap Theory is true biblically but also show how much more bible understanding you get fr...

Re: God's Ten Commandments? Still valid?

DB, I agree with your analysis. I guess one one the key confusions is that, excepting the Sabbath, those other commandments (of the ten) are still moral absolutes for all time - which is why I thought you might distinguish them apart from The Laws of the old covenant that we are no longer under. So...

Re: Abortion - Irish have done it. Consequences ?

Neo, I hope things are going well with your dad. Stu, we know when fetal brain function begins. It can be reliably detected at about 25 weeks using an EEG. The onset of brain activity is the closest we come to a consensus view of when life begins, both among scientists and laypeople. That's why 25 ...

Re: Abortion - Irish have done it. Consequences ?

Just listened to a BBC program where mothers read a nursery rhyme to babies in the womb for 5 weeks. They then stopped reading the nursery rhymes for a while. Afterwards they picked up again and what they found is that the babies heart-rate decreased when they read the same familiar nursery rhyme to...

Exodus 21:22-25 King James Version (KJV) 22 If men strive, and hurt a woman with child, so that her fruit depart from her, and yet no mischief follow: he shall be surely punished, according as the woman's husband will lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine. 23 And if any mischief fo...
