Re: R E L I G I O N O F P E A C E
To bring other users up to speed here, you spent how many years abroad in Islamic countries before you settled in the U.S.? a few years in childhood, plus i have traveled there. Not extensive, but enough to know they are people, just like us. Even Wahabbis. If you could bare with me for just a litt...

You really need to lay off your prescribed medicine, it seems to be confusing you greatly. ya well i'm not the one sending the country's wealth to oppressive regimes to run my car, while simultaneously sending the nation's natural gas to the far east for some multinationals profit margin, either. A...

Western Christianity = Wahabbi, and we are in an unholy alliance with them, and they mirror each other. Wahabbi = Islam like WC = following after Christ, which is to say "not." To bring other users up to speed here, you spent how many years abroad in Islamic countries before you settled i...

At bare minimum, retract this. I have a LOT of theological training and I don't see any reading other than "such literalisms." did any of your training touch upon the symbolism of the sun as Christ, and the moon as the Church? Where in the NT does it state that Christ is The Sun or The Ch...

Re: "What time is"
Only if you're willing, in context, to make the added point that this further proves that YECs don't believe yom means a twenty-four hour days since obviously Joshua's long "day" would have been LONGER thatn 24 hours!!! So see, long days are part of the meaning of yom . ;) See, you yecs c...

yes, and all of those of the covenant got deported to Babylon, let's not forget. Gensis 17: 20 As for Ishmael, I have heard you. I will certainly bless him; I will make him fruitful and will multiply him greatly. He will father 12 tribal leaders, and I will make him into a great nation . What does &...

I've changed my opinion over the years, and do see Muslims in different stripes. Melanie pointed out some time back, that many Saudi Muslims are Wahhabists. This is considered an aberration and blight upon Islam by many Muslims, although some stand saying Muslim is Muslim (internal dispute). Fact o...

Re: Sharia Law compared to Old Testament Law
Sharia Law is better than your system of Law, by any measure. You are compelled to follow the Law, and cannot offer Grace as a victim even if you wanted to. Sharia Law allows this, and even encourages it. Sharia Law is voluntary, and if it is not voluntary, it is not Sharia Law. I know this contradi...

Re: Sharia Law compared to Old Testament Law
i've lived in several Islamic countries, and while i am aware of exceptions to the rule, the ones that make the news, Sharia Law is a much overblown issue, that really compares pretty favorably to the custom in any small "Christian" town that is no less mired in the Law, and prolly quite ...

my whole family mourns for my dad except my mourning is,different. I mourn for a man who I never really knew and where there was no relationship. Be careful of not giving false comfort. Hell is real. yes, i do not deny that it is real; just that it is misrepresented to us, and seeking in Scripture ...

Re: Understanding the Trinity
Maybe you can do what bbyrd009 failed to do, by making an actual, coherent argument as to why the Trinity isn't biblical. yikes, someone actually lets you moderate a forum? You are disgusting, and you cannot quote me saying that the Trinity is not Biblical, you silly little man. And you are perfect...

Re: God is not a tease
ha, nice. It is tempting to expect God to make our lives here "successful" by the world's standards, when God is concerned about one's spiritual life. I think she passed the test well in not getting angry at God, which was likely the whole point.

Re: Hells Dominion by B.W. Melvin
Question: What comfort is there for those of us with the great likelihood that a loved one is in hell? thing is, you got no likelyhood of this whatsoever, it is just a belief, engendered by a corrupted understanding of Gehenna , which has been turned into "hell" as we understand it by nef...

You must be, who do you work for - The Nessa Times? Questions: did I see anyone in hell who I had loved on earth? Answer - No... Did see the demonic reflect the illusion of loved ones upon first arrival but they were not really there. How did that affect me... first it was deception as they were tr...
