Becoming the Archetype: End of the Age!

A favorite line of mine "He pulls down the sky, to crush His enemies!"

And this one is something dear to me... getting back to God is hard. But it's also rewarding! I am redeemed!

Re: Music Thread

We can resurrect that ancient music thread. I already resurrected one thread. Let me search... in the meanwhile, lets see this- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fXTn2gSG7es Potentially all the music threads could be merged... but I also have personal reasons for not bringing up my old one >_> and I'...

Re: Hell and Sheol

I'd have to research it again, but from what I understand (or at least think I understand) is that sheol is the waiting place for souls who are condemned to hell, so they are very similar, just one is a waiting place before the judgement, the other is actual unending separation from the Lord.

Re: Please Introduce Yourself Here

Hello everyone. I'm not new but I haven't been on here in literal years. Previously known as ChrisB , I couldn't remember my old password and the email I was using at the time is almost certainly dead, being a Comcast email iirc. Anyway, I am a Christian, and am open to discuss pretty much anything...

Music Thread

So a long time ago, we had a music thread... I have no idea where, but it's ancient and I figured it might be a good idea to make a new one where people can post some of their favorite songs/bands for others to enjoy. One such band I enjoy is Red, and a couple of years ago they released a new album ...

Re: All prayers needed

I am a stranger to you Hana, but I wanted to give my condolences. I'm sorry you've had to go through this. I pray God holds you close now and helps you heal.

Re: A prayer request for a dear friend

Having personally suffered from severe post natal depression that went undiagnosed for seven years my heart and prayers go out to your friend and her brother. Tell him, and her, that although you really don't think it at the time, hope is there, you can, and will, find joy again. Tell them you care...

Re: First impressions

What made you think he was a vindictive jerk originally? Simply the way he dressed. I took one look at the guy and thought he was trouble, but after talking to him, I find out he's a devout believer and all around great friend. First impressions can make a short term difference (like a job intervie...

A prayer request for a dear friend

I would like to ask for prayer for a dear friend of mine and her brother. I don't want to go into details, but I will say that her brother has been fighting depression, and it's been very hard for him. He suffers from sever depression, and has tried to get help. She also suffers from depression from...

Re: First impressions

Meh, first impressions can be over turned by getting to know someone, so their importance may be great in the short term, but in the long term they can prove to be rather wrong. Example, one of my best friends, and Brother in the Lord. My first impression of him was that he was a vindictive jerk. I ...
