Re: It's about time!
I think the idea of apologizing to a dead guy, whether or not he was right, is ridiculous. It's not like it'll do the dead guy any good.

Re: Blondes, Brunettes and Redheads
A blonde, a brunette, and a redhead show up for the same job interview. The brunette is the first one to go in, and after filling out the forms and going through the questions, the interviewer decides to ask her last question: "How many Ds are there in 'Indiana Jones"? The brunette thinks ...

Prayer for patience
I've recently been reading various pro/anti-abortion debates online and some of the comments I've read tend to push all the wrong buttons in me. Just asking you guys to pray for me to keep a cool head and remember that we're all God's children.
Thanks,
James

James

Re: Marijuana
NIK, there's no need to go around calling people names. If you smoke marijuana, that's your business, but don't come down on those of us who don't like you're somehow better than we are.

Why don't Macintosh computers have a Blue Screen of Death?
They're too busy freezing up to display one.

Re: Letter From Amsterdam
The Holocaust museum in D.C. is much the same....I;ve never been to a quieter, more somber place....I also saw the documentaries. The do make you physically ill. Physically ill...yes. Psychologically ill as well, for sensitive hearts. After our visit to Natzwiler-Struthof, my wife told me she never...

Guy in the water
Heard this one at church today... A man is stranded out in the middle of the ocean. He prays for God to save him. After awhile, a log floats by. The man ignores it, thinking "God will save me." A little later, some people in a boat come by and ask the man if he needs a lift. The man says, ...

Re: Darwin and the Holocaust
Thanks Swamper, that was my mistake, the philistines shouldn't be there, I think I added them in simply because I couldn't remember what races my source actually emntioned. I have reread it and it seems that both "Jewish and Arabs are Semitic people." "In 2500BC, the Semites were far...

Re: Matthew 21:2-7, Matthew and the donkey and the colt
I understand Zechariah as referring to only one animal as well. It's the same idea as if I were to say, "That guy's riding on a donkey. Can you believe it? A young donkey!", which is clearly a reference to one animal.

I'm Jewish through my mom, through hers, through both of my grandmother's parents, and both of theirs, etc.... Now, in order for me to claim Ahlya, they look at the fathers side of the family and if you are jewish through that side. Huh. Everything I've read says that being an ethnic Jew is traced ...
