Science speculates that Christianity originated out of Israel. What is the evidence for this? Besides the bible, you're bible was not printed 2000 years ago. Obviously, and why do you not capitalize Bible? A book and/or a collection of books need to be capitalized. And by saying "you're bible&...

Speaking of spanking, I remember back in elementary school, that the children in my class as well as I were spanked in front of everyone at a very young age. Public humiliation!

I'd disagree that it is 'necessarily' God's decree, as taking away God, one could still possibly believe in having a destiny. God's decree I would say is more compatible with 'election'. Still you are right I think to point out the differences. Maybe something like the following would be better: &q...

BGood, a clone would have to be an EXACT copy of it's primary source. I mean EXACTLY the same in everything both inside and outside the body from birth. The fact that they ARE NOT, means they are produced in a different way than twins but are still different.

Re: Flaws in Evolution

Found this and thought it was helpful. Just wanted to share it with you guys. I want to share it with a friend of mine. Any flaws I should know about? Evolution Hmm, I liked the website beyond that article (which I didn't read, because I simply don't believe in evolution ). Great articles ...

Still don't understand B.W., way to long of an article for ADD people like me. Can you shorten it and make it very simple into one sentence? None of this makes sense at all. I'm having a mental breakdown over trying to figure this out. :?

Identical twins are clones of each other, what are the implications of this? No, they are not clones. A clone is one that exhibits all traits of its primary source, all of it. Cloning is the same as duplicating. You are making more of the same exact thing. Identical twins would have to have the exa...

Yes, it is. I got the fast internet and these forums move at the pace of a snail. Has Rich Deem been paying the bills or is the excessive stupidity in some posts slowing down the forums ?

What does my post have anything to do with atheism? Well, I am a scientist and I have worked with scientists for a while now and I have yet to have a religious discussion with any of them to talk about their "wanting to see how far they can go" or "what limits they can push". Mo...

Because kids are being brainwashed into thinking that homosexuality is natural, or, who knows, better than heterosexuality. Homosexuality is normal. We are living in a changing world and what wasn't normal a century ago might be normal now. For Example In the middle ages getting divorced was a huge...

Because homosexuality is wrong. It's like having books on "My Daddy, the Alcoholic--He's Cool!" "My name is Johnny. I love my Dad. He's an Alcoholic. He's drinks almost every night. He drinks tons of stuff. What he likes most is alcohol. Every morning he drives me to school drunk. So...

Very briefly--most of you seem to be mixing the terms election with predestination. If election means that God elects (chooses) some to salvation, and predestination means that God predestines (chooses) some to salvation, then can you see that both of these are exactly the same? Predestination is n...
