Re: Calling All Geeks: "How do I ... ?" Etc.
Before Windows 10 I could tell you pretty easy. With Win10 its a mess. However I know there is a menu to check or uncheck that feature because I saw in the past couple weeks while floundering around trying to solve a Win10 problem.

Re: Dash cam experience
I'm looking to purchase a dash cam for my son. Does anyone here have experience with them? I'm looking for iPhone compatibility, as well as high heat tolerance, because I live in Florida. I seem to have narrowed it down to a Thinkware F770. Anyone have any thoughts, good or bad? It just so happens ...

Re: Aaron Hernandez Suicide
Going from NFL star to prison is a huge shock to your psyche, just has to be. Working crime scenes for years, especially 13+ as a CSI, I noticed some general patterns as do all experienced investigators. The really serious ones plan it out, some are more detailed than others, and don't give the slig...

Re: The Left Coast Eco Freaks
The Fed and Cali govt haven't made much of a dent, despite near Draconian regulations imposed upon the people. The first time I was in LA (1984) it was pretty smoggy but I could easily see an inversion layer over the area which traps the atmosphere underneath it. Since then we've been to LA about a ...

Re: The Left Coast Eco Freaks
California has had tough MV emission controls for a good 40 years. And still the LA basin looks like that.

Re: FoxNews: Billy Boy's Gone!
Never liked O'Reilly's style of interrupting and talking over guests. Most of the time I wondered why he even invited a guest on the show.

Re: Jesus's death
I've seen claims about a T shaped cross but the apostle's accounts say the "King of the Jews" sign was above Jesus. So that would eliminate a T and reinforce the traditional shape of the cross. There's claims of other shapes like an X, etc because the Romans got creative on ways to kill pe...

Re: Chrislam
The misconception is that Islam branches off from the Judaism/Christian tree. However that is totally false. It was put together from a variety of religions or beliefs that were in the Saudi desert at the time. Then added to that are the convenient "revelations" that permitted Muhammed to ...

Re: God and the East
Not just the Far East but the far north was a hard region to spread the gospel. Far north being the Baltic states of Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia. The resistance to missionary attempts kept Christianity at bay until about 1200 A.D. when the Northern Crusades were undertaken to force conversion upon...

Re: Are we really 99 Percent the Same as Chimps?
Have a blood transfusion with a chimp if you believe we are 99% the same as chimps. I'll let someone else be the pioneer on that little experiment. What is interesting is the compatibility of some pig parts like cardiovascular stuff, with humans. I haven't read any recent developments bu...

Re: Do you know God?
Reminds of the Moravian pastor on the boat with John Wesley after surviving the storm. Do you know Jesus Christ? Yes I'm a missionary for the Church of England. But do you have a personal relationship with Jesus? Uh, no. One event and two short questions set in motion a drastic change in Wesley's li...

Re: Finkelstein's New Ark Search
Its discovery would certainly generate a few headlines. Finkelstein no doubt would put some doubtful questioning spin on authenticity. Since he hates the Bible so much he should get to open it. If he drops dead then we'll know its found.
