I don't think we benefit at all from axe grinding. Seeing sparks fly just isn't for me.abelcainsbrother wrote:I think we benefit from these kinds of discussions.

Re: Thousands of Muslims In Northern Iraq Converting to Christianity
A good answer you gave there, Eddy. My comments: 1) As long as the US keeps being a melting pot and isn't seduced by multiculturalism* maybe you could open your borders to 200 thousand Syrians and make it work. Maybe. France uses a mix of multiculturalism and melting pot and that didn't work for the...

I don't have a steady job here. I work on call as a jailer, a security guard, a pilot and a sewage truck driver.
Most of all, I like locking people up and depriving them of their freedom I enjoy all the work God sends my way.

Re: Alright, i got a good question.
The modern atheist is someone that believes this is all there is and there is nothing else. That's racist! ;) Ok, seriously...not racist, but an abusive generalization (as are generalizations, by the way). That, I believe, is Victor Stenger's atheism. There are other types of atheisms, like Hawking...

Re: Thousands of Muslims In Northern Iraq Converting to Christianity
Who says Muslims want to be isolated? Has it occurred to you that they might feel attacked, persecuted, and unwelcome? You seem to discount France's experience with immigration from the Magrheb. The history of that immigration, and the difficulties France has faced since the 1970s answer both of yo...

You may want to reconsider that «wise saying» as it reeks and drips of New Ageism.Kenny wrote:I am reminded of a wise saying; “Trust those who seek the truth, but beware of those who have found it.”

Re: FLAT EARTH ANYBODY?
My question would be, if the earth was flat, how would it be possible to fly over both the Atlantic and Pacific oceans between the continents? I think airline pilots would be aware they were flying in some kind of arc to stay over the ocean and give the illusion of traversing either of those oceans...

I'm not gringo, so I can't comment on anything relative to the Democratic Party. I don't listen to Bill O'Reilly either but I do know that he's a polemicist and very good at what he does. I also don't like the New York Times because it is an anti-Zionist and extremly regressive «progressive» newspap...
