Re: Bill Clinton's Abandoned Son

Fwiw, I'm still trying to convince myself that I won't go to hell if I vote for Trump. :crying: Consider it a vote for Pence. Do you really think if Trump gets in, that plans to assassinate him won't be under way? Really it's war, if he'll launch a special investigation on Clinton, US intelligence ...

Re: Christianity Today on Trump

And no, I'm not comparing Trump to Stalin, nor Clinton to Hitler. Err, yes you did, well on Stalin. ;) No. I knew someone would get that, from what I wrote. My point was that we as Christians, can make a moral argument to ally ourselves with someone we really disagree with, in order to fight ...

Re: So it begins

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. How is the UN going to make the internet better? Silly question I know because it can't.

Globalist ideals in action. Everything this prez has touched has turned into a mess, this unnecessary internet surrender will be no different.

Re: Do the horsemen of the apocalypse have a tangible existence? Or are they completely metaphorical?

I too believe the anti-christ will be Islamic or a muslim however something that I noticed is Daniel says he will not regard the God of his fathers(Daniel 11:37 also I think it is supposed to be a little g instead of capitalized)and so instead of saying the Antichrist will be Islamic or a muslim we...

The cartoon on the first post reminds me of an old joke from bomb squad techs. If you see me running, don't ask why, just follow!

Re: Do the horsemen of the apocalypse have a tangible existence? Or are they completely metaphorical?

Walid Shoebat is firmly convinced that Islam and its forces are the Anti Christ, not the RCC/Popes. If you're not familiar with Shoebat he's a former PLO terrorist who did prison time for planting bombs in Israel. He converted to Christianity and has been a leading voice against the false prophet. A...

Re: Will US Go To War With Russia?

I just cannot fathom why we'd go to war with Russia. Seems insane. For what reason? I'm not getting it. Russia could be our best ally against muslim terrorism but this administration (both Sec of State) has done nothing but antagonize Putin, not to mention provide direct support to terrorists who ha...

Re: Surprising jump in numbers in Bible study class

Last night was my first official BSF meeting. We had brand new with a group leader who was new at his function. It went well but fast. With any group of total strangers it can be awkward and quiet but most loosened up. Most guys are 40 to 60 with several in their 20's. What struck me was how we shar...

Re: Musician Thread

I would love to but have no music producing talent at all. Everyone in my family can play at least one instrument and read music. Took guitar lessons as a kid until the teacher moved. It was awkward for a 9 yr old to work a 1955 Gibson Sunburst.

Re: Surprising jump in numbers in Bible study class

My prayers were answered. Saturday evening I got a call from the leader of a new group that I made it. I always believed it would happen but not this quick!

Praise the Lord....he hears those who's heart are longing to be nourished from Living Waters.

Nice rendition of the hymn. I always associate that hymn with little Lutheran churches in the country. It was a staple at funerals.

Special songs or hymns at points in life

In a person's life there are songs that define your feelings or experience at a certain point. It could something happy or sad or a special event but when you hear it the song brings you back. Right now this song by Tennessee Ernie Ford best sums up how I feel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FXoLIh...

Re: Covert Narcissistic Personality Disorder prevalent in Church Leadership

Several Studies are out now. One from Canada suggest statistically that 1 out of 5 Pastors have what is called a Covert Narcissistic Personality Disorder. If this is true, then have you encountered one? The Covert type is different from the Overt Type. They are more subtle but just as dangerous. Un...
