I think judges should be neutral. If their job is to interpret the constitution, I think it's a shame that judges have a political allience.

We are living in a fallen world. Agreed. Democratic or Theocratic? . . Either way, same-sex marriage cannot happen. Most people want marriage to be between one man and one woman. So democracy or theocracy, same-sex marriage is out of the question. Unless of course, the issue gets taken to court...

THis is one of the things I was most afraid of with the changing of the presidency. Souter immediately announces his retirement and Obama will choose a very liberal justice. YOu can bet planned parenthood will have someone bring up the abortion restrictions and we will have an increase in the numeb...

Whether or not the West was built upon Christian values is irrelevant... people should be free to choose whatever religion they want to follow. That's the case in (most) Western countries.

The DoMA was passed in 1996... Lol, 13 years and barely any states defy the DoMA and legalise same sex marriage... and in the space of about two months, like 5 states legalise same-sex marriage out of nowhere! Kinda like waiting for a bus for 5 hours only to have 5 come at the end of it all. :P

aha i see :P Well i cant say bout the law, priest in my home town said something about it. i dono whether it encompasses SK only or more - i think it's former - but yes i know what you are saying. Thing is, such downloading is soooo common in SK only a few people actually buy the thing; and no-one ...

If they do that's great :) we don't pay but they still get their due. Yes ok we can watch stuff from Youtube or ...
