Re: Why is the Universe both so large and so old?

noah1201 that is why if Jesus appeared before me right now i would still think twice before agreeing to anything. Just because it might allegedly happen doesn't mean it would force anyone to change their mind. The pharaoh in exodus was subjected to loads of miracles and he didn't change his mind did...

Re: Bacteria on Meteorites

Re: Why is the Universe both so large and so old?

But its the honest answer why is it foolish? Its like the philosopher saying "I think, therefore I am" Its not really a position where you admit with any certainty that you know exactly what happened. Is it a statement that is unacceptable? I do not think that it is sophistry.

So maybe ...

Re: Why is the Universe both so large and so old?

I think a better question to ask is "Why is most of the universe so inhospitable to life?" There are places in the universe where the heat and radiation will KILL instantly. Think about that, instantly! The percentage of livable space is so tiny that it is almost zero, when you look at the...

Also Get 80mm DVD's and a music player that will take them, the duel layer ones can handle about the same amount of music as 3 cd's. I have lots of music transcribe onto them 8) Als...

Exactly, the wager is only a good argument for feigning belief. It is basically very poor and should not be used. which is why I am very dismissive when I hear it.

Re: Why is revelation so INSANE?

I arrived at my conclusion by simply reading it, looking for it. Finding out what scholars think. Although there are apparently many opinions about show name is worth 666. I think it is safe to just ignore the whole so called "revelation" as if it were a non-canon book, because lets face i...
