Re: And this is the Yahoo Some Republicans Want in the Oval Office

One thing about ACB, if he likes something, he's ALL in - the ultimate fanboy! :D But, thing is, whenever you see someone defend virtually everything about someone, with next to no criticism, EVER, well, it makes me question their objectivity.

Re: And this is the Yahoo Some Republicans Want in the Oval Office

Trump is a classic case of how easily the masses are fooled when someone skilled at manipulating their understandable anger into swallowing what their itching ears want to hear. When one takes a hard look at Trump's past business and political practices, they reveal Him to be a major phony! He repre...

Re: Condoms and such

Parents and guardians need to be the ones who decide on this. In many kids' minds, receiving condoms communicates a message that having sex is ok and inevitable. It's a bit like giving them their own set of car keys. But the whole safe sex message without also emphasizing that condoms are not 100% f...

Re: And this is the Yahoo Some Republicans Want in the Oval Office

According to this http://www.allenbwest.com/2016/03/whoa-david-duke-drops-bombshell-about-donald-trump/ Duke says he did not endorse Trump. So, I'd have to take him at his word. That said, Trump claiming he couldn't properly hear is a joke. The Media that reported the unsubstantiated Duke endorsemen...

Re: Hallucinogenic drugs advice

Ice, just because you are pro-drug does not mean you know what you are talking about. Acid is in NO way a "chill" drug. And pot is mostly a time waster that dulls the senses, and many studies reveal the negative consequences of long-term use. As for the media, as long as they are REPORTING...

Re: Hallucinogenic drugs advice

With so much potential for IMMEDIATE negatives coming from even short term drug experiments, as one is altering their reality and perceptions, why risk that? As for the uncertainty of long-term impact, again, why the unnecessary risks - even if it MIGHT turn out to be negligible. Not to mention, ill...

Re: Would appreciate your prayers this week.

OK, Rick, that video did put a few laughing hurts on me! How very strange that the very first song I listened to since surgery is all about hernias and James Brown - whom I totally dig. But as for Weird Al - well, what can you say? Good thing is doc says a mesh hernia repair will make you...

Re: Would appreciate your prayers this week.

Not quite the picture in my mind that I wanted to wake up to. ME either! Hope you're feeling up and at 'em (no pun intended) real soon! Reading betwixt the lines - THAT is pretty much the last thing I'm presently thinking of  Device removed this morning and the other good ne...

Re: Would appreciate your prayers this week.

Thanks for your prayers, everyone! Was a VERY long day. Hernia repair went well, but had complications being able to go to the bathroom, so I had to get catherized - one of my worst fears - and TWICE! The first time under anesthesia, the second time was "old school" - grin and bare it (act...

Rick: Because, if you were asking if there's anything that can be done about her giving me the evil eye, then no. That's something I've learned to live with for the last 22 years.
No doubt!

Rick, sorry to hear that. Guess nothing can be done about it?
