Re: Anyone here like to surf?
Grew up surfing ages 11-28. It was a very exciting, fun, healthy, healing, elating sport. I thank God for allowing me to participate in his creation. Unfortunaltey, adulthood came calling. Fell out of surfing with responsibilities etc. Hoping to get back in the ocean soon. Ever since I saw Jaws , I...

Re: Vegas shooting...?
Hi Edwardmurphy, I am in Las Vegas. I experienced the shootings. It made me realize allot of things. I've told allot of people I was there. The general response: Nobody asks any questions. Nobody except my family gives a damn. Nobody cares. "Well I'm happy you made it out" or "yea, ye...

Re: List of Amazing Scientific Evidences Why God MUST Exist
Really good list. I used to read a bible which referenced archeological findings with each relevant verse. For instance the Pharoh forcing the Jewish slaves to make bricks without straw and carbon dating evidence.

Re: Hells Dominion by B.W. Melvin
In the meantime I found this video about another mans NDE in 1994. His experiences seem to match yours in many ways. Standing on an invisible floor in blackness grabbed by a 13 foot tall demon matches another NDE I watched. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3gyP_xdMl8E Some NDE's I'm seeing the person...

Re: Hells Dominion by B.W. Melvin
There is no afterlife salvation possible due to the nature of eternity and knowing God in that state. I had to return, by God's grace, a grace that weighs heavily upon me, to this life to become born again in that I owe Jesus all my life - not part - all. Sadly, people think God's love will change ...

Re: Accepted Jesus, But Doesn't Believe He's God
Hebrews 1:8; 1 John 5:20). It's 2:41 AM and I am still reading these blogs and thinking about this. These are the only 2 scriptures you listed I see I feel which directly confirm your position Jesus IS God. I read Hebrews 1 KJV. Is Hebrew 1 KJV saying Jesus is God of the next Universe? I will read ...

Re: The movie that inspired Aladdin!
Cool. Treasure all the old Disneyland cartoons. Cartoons today seem computerized and souless to me. My children would be watching the original Snow White, Sleeping Beauty and Pinnochios etc if I had any.

Re: Accepted Jesus, But Doesn't Believe He's God
When we say Jesus is God it is acknowledging the trinity as we could also say the Holy Spirit is God too. When you say Jesus is the son of God it is only true because God was born into this world just as we are as a human but fully God in the flesh.Others above have already explained the trinity to ...

Re: Accepted Jesus, But Doesn't Believe He's God
So, are all Jews saved merely because they believe in the Father? Why does Scripture say the only way to the Father is through the Son? I say that ANYONE who believes in a false Jesus - and believes the teachings of whatever their tradition over Scripture, which ALSO asserts Jesus is not God - cann...

Re: Accepted Jesus, But Doesn't Believe He's God
For those on this forum. Please pick the correct answer if you will: A) Jesus IS God B) Jesus is the son of God, Lord and Savior of Mankind, who shed his blood "that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God loved the world so much that he gave his only SON, s...

Re: Can Christians go to bars/pubs?
I would like to know that answer to this too. To me there is something about drinking in carousing and revelry with scally wag types and strangers that makes drinking at bars and pubs WITH OTHER PEOPLE, a big time sin to me. I don't know why but my conscious is irrationally convinced this is a big t...

Re: The Book of Job: Was Job Real? And if so, why would God allow Satan to test Job?
1st Question: Yes. Job was a real person. He is described as such in grear detail. There is nothing in the book of Job that makes me think the book of Job is an allegory.
2nd Question: I do not know. I am not an expert in the least.
