Re: My Personal Issue.

Once you start spending more time with God then worldly things you will not have doubt that God is there. I have had God do so many miracles in my life since I was a boy, you would think that I would never have doubt, but their were times in me life I doubted if God was real. Doubt, and making you f...

Re: SALVATION ISSUE

When James was talking about faith without works is dead, he was talking to so called Christens that was not helping the church at Jerusalem in time of a great famine. Works Has nothing what ever to do with salvation. Look haw Paul talked to the Galatians when they were trying to mix the law with fa...

Re: SALVATION ISSUE

Jlay, what i meant is that: A person tells me he is saved. However, his life is still the same prior to his repentence to Christ. No change. Does not the Bible mention of us being a new creation when we accept Jesus Christ? Also, in Matthew, when his disciples (i think) asked him: Jesus, how will y...

Re: My Brother

What I do when I know someone and I’m not sure if they are saved, is ask them are you born again. I have always got one of two responses, either yes or they try to blow it off. If they say yes, I ask them how do you know. At this point the answer will either be Jesus died for my sins, or they will s...

Re: Skeptic argument about the apostles motive

If I remember right Jesus appeared to like 300 or 500 people. And Paul was a persecutor of the Apostles. Yet he became the most prominent of all the Apostils.

Re: SALVATION ISSUE

So, this one is an important one. In logic class the other day, my teacher said once you pray the sinner's prayer and accept Jesus Christ, you have Salvation no matter what you do???? What she is saying does not sound to Biblical for me, and i have my reasons, but i would like to know what you guys...

Re: Will Creationists Admit They Are Wrong and Apologise?

The scientist that I listen to believe in the bible, they believe in Genesis. And there are many of them. “For the others” Jeremiah 8:9 The wise will be put to shame; they will be dismayed and trapped. Since they have rejected the word of the LORD, what kind of wisdom do they have?

Re: Ateist volitional will and what Christians can do...

There in nothing controversial about Pastor Stanley’s statement, That is sound doctrine for a believer. However you never want to stop intercession for an unbeliever I think you are missing the main point what is being discussed in the thread. Your comments, and the verses you quote only support tu...

Re: Ateist volitional will and what Christians can do...

1st I would hardly call Dr. Stanley a charismatic preacher Dr. Stanley joined the staff of First Baptist Church of Atlanta in 1969 and became senior pastor in 1971, and he is still there today. 2nd This is not something you do to non-believers, this is something you do to a Christen who will not rep...

Re: How do you evaluate a truth-claim?

Suppose 12 people made the same claim and over the course of time held to that position and of them, 11 when faced with the challenge of recanting their testimony chose instead to accept death rather than deny it. Would that impact your view of it? Please take a moment to examine the Board's purpos...

Re: World becoming increasingly atheist

It may be true that church attendance is down in western society, but I feel revival in my bones. More preachers are preaching the good news. As far as the rest of the world, people are being healed, raised from the dead, and the plan of salvation is being preached to the poor! PRASE GOD!
