Re: No Hell?

I have love brotherhood and happiness here in sweden. You are saying that unless i accept Jesus then what awaits me after i die is a eternity of "not-happiness, not-brotherhood and not-love" in What way is that not threatining? Also how is it believable? Since you have to die to "go t...

Re: Second Law of Thermodynamics

I personally don't know his views on evolution but his emphasis on the second law of thermodynamics surely logically points to evolution as being scientifically impossible. I take it that you know what the other laws of thermodynamics are then? Or would knowing them be inconvinient? Btw rickd if yo...

Re: Christianity vs. Other Religions

Does the mathematicion mathematically demonstrate why it is reasonable? Or is it just a faith thing? Oh yea and of course believing in things is reasonable, aslong as it is justified. These are origin, meaning, morality and destiny. most other religion do "provide" these, just they cant al...

Re: DNA and Evolution vs. Design

Yes I know that. Does it matter if the science is sound what religion the scientist follows? Do we remember Newton for his Many Religious workings or his fewer in number scientific discoveries? How long it will take before Evolution is accepted in just the same way as gravity? Probably when we have ...

How about responding yourself instead of just putting your fingers in your ears and posting agitating videos? I can do that too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RQQ7ubVIqo4 See this is easy, how about more: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dK3O6KYPmEw "I don't believe in a deceptive designer"

Re: No Hell?

There was no hell in the old testement though, god restricted his pain and torture to just your life and didn't have the unanimity of needing to do anything to you after your death, hell is just a big stick to threaten people with. Amusingly to non-Christians its just as good as saying, "You wi...

Re: DNA and Evolution vs. Design

Doesn't this fall at the same hurdle as the watchmaker argument? Just as watches don't reproduce/mutate/live neither do computer codes. In fact every time reproduction occurs there are many "mistakes" made that you could call copying errors, mostly they are non-harmful sometimes there are ...

Re: Why is the Universe both so large and so old?

Maybe you should discriminate between freedom of will and freedom to act, I want to be able to lift up a house...I have the will to do it, but No freedom to act on it. God could prevent evil from happening and it would have no effect on freedom of will it would be freedom to act that would be effect...
