Re: Bill Maher and Tim Tebow

I don't really see the massive uproar over comedy sketches...First of all, SNL isn't out to insult the majority of America. Agreed. Most of America might be Christian, but most of them weren't offended. You might be right. The skit was simply poking fun at the notion that Jesus was helping Tim Tebo...

Silvertusk is right.
I think curses only work if you allow them to have power over you. You have to give them permission first.

Re: Is it possible?

Is it possible to completely halt masturbation? Because for a long time I've thought it as a nearly impossible task until recent times since the Lord has given me strength. God bless! It's possible, yes, but incredibly tough. Especially if you're used to it. It's obviously much easier to stop if yo...

Re: Bill Maher and Tim Tebow

Can't say I know too much about Maher himself, but he sounds a bit extreme...I generally don't read into things like this too much. Re: What is hell like?

No account of hell given in speech or written in print or posted on the internet by those claiming to have actually seen it should be accepted out of hand. I will tell you why. Even putting aside the fact that the scripture does not explicitly teach Hell as modern Christians believe it to be there ...

I'd heard the DJ talking it up before it was played on the radio on the way to a family gathering on Christmas Eve. After about two extremely corny lines, I turned on a CD out of annoyance. I hate really sappy, needlessly sad Christmas songs.
