Thks Poetic & Michael for ur effort. Read a few commentaries. All did not say where the demons went. I think the answer you've sound logical. Here's what I piece up 1) When Jesus caste out the demons, there's 2 destinations they can go a) to the abyss...which is being locked up or the eternal fire (...

where did the demons go?

Mt 8: 30 -32 What happen to the demons after the legions possess the pigs & the pigs committed suicide? A recent encounter that I've heard was that one worker went hysterical for a while, before "it" left her & another went hysterical. Altogether, about 4 workers spread across the facotry floor was ...

Charismatic chaos?

I hope I'm not inciting a riot here....but I sincerely want to clarify some of my lingering doubt or stand to be convinced by the other side. I do hope too that all positng here will be of good faith without personal attacks since this is a touchy subject. I'm not a charismatic & have read quite a f...

I get this wacky ideas that people who didn't had a chance to hear would be reincarnated till they heard the gospel & is responsible for their own spiritual fate. Thus when technology reach every corner of the world & the message is available to all, all would have heard & reincarnation done away & ...

God forgive me... but I've this thot that God will return in a form that's "Alien-like". Why else would pple still hide in caves & rock & rather die than to meet the returning Christ. ...I know....some say it's because of their hardened hearts....but just as Christ came in a form that's not recogni...

Let's return back to the fundamental Q in this post.

I think most of us can decide who has the right attitude in this discussion. For those who can't...no point changing their opinion.

Let's move on....

I like this image Paul uses in Corinthians describing us as the body of Christ … I was thinking though, that all human beings are the body of Christ (the Sent One). All of humanity. We are all "sent" for each other. “For also in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks,...

Re: Christians and War

I don't see a contradiction with a Christian serving in a government. One must just play his part is steering the government's decision, but still the majority rules & submitting to the majority (in the senate or whatever) is submitting to the govt, even while you're part of it. This is like one of ...

The persecution of Christian during Roman time is real. I've not read up on how many were actually killed, but all I know is that a lot of the key people (Apostles, deacons) were martyl Sure, but just a small number of people compared to those who suffered under Christians. I do not agree with the ...

For example, Christians were very disobedient under Roman rule. They were supposed to worship pagan gods, and they disobeyed and were slowly burned to death as human torches, crucified, and killed in a number of more imaginative ways. Also, the wars between Catholics and Protestants seem valid beca...

John McArthur had a message on obedience recently. Jesus said: Love God & Love Your Neighbours as yourself. On these 2 hangs all the laws. What it means is that we'll fulfill all of God's laws if we can love God & love man. This we know, we can never accomplish totally. For this reason, we've fallen...

August & Kurieuo. U're right. There's another side to the problem of ignoring. I think enough have been said. All have their views about things, & this is one area I think there's no absolute right or wrong answer. It's boils down to gut feel when it come to moderation. No easy task...so I'll still ...
