Re: Some demons are already bound, not free to roam

Well, it's clear from scripture that not ALL demons are free to roam, so to speak. Jude tells us in verse 6 "And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their own home—these he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day. That's a...

My same experiences with both Dale & Kurieuo. On one hand, I witness the loop-sided argument in many writings against Charismatism that does not justify what I see in my friends, while on another, I must also admit that I've not personally witness a true blue healings, tho I've heard some testimonie...

He says so after there are enough people running around. If they would have kept on going at it like they were, they would have diminished the gene pool in each individual group. That doesn't change the fact that we're related if the Adam and Eve story was true. According to the Adam Eve story, you...

you know why i don't kill people, or animals for that matter, not because some book told me it was wrong, because i know it is wrong. I don't want to see any being in any kind of harm, i don't need a god to tell me this. The bible said: The Spirit will convict the world of sin...not just the Christ...

Re: Charismatic chaos?

I appreciate what J316 said and understood him perfectly. When God baptised me with the Holy Spirit I was sitting alone in the back seat of my car, in the garage, where i had gone to pray. Waves of anointing poured through my body giving me an urgent desire to praise God at the top of my voice. My ...

Those who were baptisizing, it is possible, had one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit, the discerning of spirits. I think you're talking about the ideal. In reality, how many have that to the dot? Beside, I also believe that the discerning power is much base on the candidate daily testimony as well a...

My fault. I've not been clear in my question. Yes, I do agree with all that's written as far as what's true salvation is. I do regard that a person may think he is saved in the time of saying the sinner's prayer, but is not actually saved if in latter times, he learnt more about virgin birth, diety ...

What is salvation

what exactly is salvation? To know that I'm a sinner & that there's a God & His son (also God) died for me & I will submit to him? What if at the point of "salvation", I'd not understand/accepted the truth about Jesus virgin bith, the triune nature of God, his resurrection...am I still save at that ...

It's as simple as that. Pacifism means self destruction by the very laws that this universe was made of by God Himself. To side with that is to side with death. Well that's the choice the apostles made - who's to say they were wrong? The apostles didn't haul bricks either. Let's stop doing that too...

If fignting for justice is right..then Jesus won't need to die...because He allowed injustice to happen to himself. Same with the Apostle. So far the only route as shown in NT for people facing persecution is to run/flee. This may seem cruel, but in the end, when protecting the innocent from the war...

A war fought in adherence to Biblical law is defensive, not aggressive, as merciful as possible. Boy am I glad that this thread came alive again. Honestly Dan, I'm not too sure about the merciful part. Deep inside, I always wonder why must all the enemies be killed...including livestocks..in some o...

Did you ever think storys and facts change over years its been 2000 years. plus 2 of jesus's apostles never wrote in the bible of a resurrection. but where added in after their deaths 200 years later. even if he didn't die he would have died later as a older man. when he left the country. So if you haven't been exposed to the Bible and/or the New Testament, then God's law because some sort of law of common sense? Why do you think so many societies forbid murder, stealing, and other things condemned in the Bible? It's because humanity has it's own built-in moral code that some of it'...

And for me, I don't see why God'd create other creatures and hide it from us... Perhaps we've been approaching this Alien issue in a human centric angle. If God chose to create Alien, He has his reason for it. If there's no business between Alien & human, there's no neccessity of mentioning in the ...
