Re: Ignorance of the Bible

We have a Mall up here in Calgary that put up the Jesus in a Stable Scene (QUITE SUPRISING). A news story about it was on and was asking people who these people were. It is quite suprising the Answers from Kids and Adults alike who do not know the Story of Jesus. :(

Re: The Fall of Man

My premise on the Bible is simply one must use common sense when reading the Bible taking into account the history of the Bible. I think many people believe the Bible suddenly existed. Many think the King James version just fell out of the sky. That is simply not the way it happened. The earliest t...

Re: The Fall of Man

I plead ignorance on which verses in the Bible are completely valid and which are not. I believe the overall message of Jesus because it is consitent across the Gospels even though specific passages made not have been actually said by him. Also, it works for me. As for a "witnessing" I probably wou...

Re: 2012

I was planning to retire, buy a motor home and travel across North America in 2017. Could the end of the world be delayed until 2040 or so? FL PS: should I have posted this in Prayer Requests? Might as well! Also, keep you Y2K rations on hand - just in case... - - - Errr I would throw out the Twink...

Re: A non-religious argument against gay marriage? (VERY LONG)

I know you are right. Sin is sin. Even if I don't see the harm, if there is unconfessed sin involved it is always wrong. I tend to be more of a feeler on these issues. BTE whjat did you mean about adoption? Surely that is not wrong? No no nothing wrong with Adopting Children. I was trying to show p...

Re: Another blonde joke

Here's another one for you, Enigma. A guy took his blonde girlfriend to her first football game. They had great seats right behind their team's bench. After the game, he asked her how she liked the experience. 'Oh, I really liked it,' she replied, especially the tight pants and all the big muscles,...

Toby Mac used to be one of the lead singers for DC Talk... Burn for you, and Phenomenon are my favorite!!! Ahh the old bands... Bon Jovi...
