Re: Creation of information

My logic is simple. In the OP i wrote: "What is assumed is that intelligence is needed to create new information and hence that a natural process of mutations and selections (evolution) can’t produce new information." This can be stated (similar to my 4, in #21): 5. There is no processes that creat...

Re: Convinced yet?

If he can be shown to have done something illegal or impeachable, and it is proven through proper channels, then he deserves what he gets. I have no problem when someone is held accountable for his/her actions. Napolitano (Fox News): Trump's admitted contact with Ukraine is a crime https://www.yout...

Re: Creation of information

No, I don't claim that no intelligence is needed for the creation of the program or a computer. I claim that when the computer is there and the program is up and running then the program is creating information without any help from an intelligence. That's what needed to exemplify a process similar...

Re: Creation of information

False logic. I admit that: 1. In one case there is a process that creates information and that is generated by an intelligence. From that does NOT follow: 2. Every process that creates information is created by an intelligence. No. Every process that we can observe and empirically prove from which ...

Re: Creation of information

The requirement for an intelligent designer and programmer is not 'beside the point'. It IS the point. Here is your described premise What is assumed is that intelligence is needed to create new information and hence that a natural process of mutations and selections (evolution) can’t produce new i...

Re: Creation of information

If new information can be created by computers there is no reason why it couldn’t be created by biological evolution What gives computers the capability to create new information? Are you claiming that a random series of 1s and 0s is capable of generating a computer program that can create new info...

Re: Atheist question

So using simple math number of steps X average population required to bridge each step = total population required to bridge all the steps or 10^7 X 10^10 = 10^17 From where did you get this formula? Nils I didn't need to get it from anywhere... it is straightforward multiplication. I was curious a...

Re: Adam and Eve

I often wonder with often we are finding pre-modern human skeletons. Where does this place, Adam and Eve? Scripture places Adam and Eve in Neolithic Mesopotamia (Genesis 2-4) and Scriptural Genealogies (specifically the Septuagint numbers) also place Adam and Eve somewhere in the 5000 BC to 6000 BC...

Re: Atheist question

The whole idea that it is in some way possible to find the probability of evolution from chimpanzees to humans is fantastic. That's not what I was doing. I was using the genetic difference between humans and chimpanzees to demonstrate that the gap between humans and our closest common ancestor cann...

Re: Atheist question

Actually... even if we assume small single mutation steps I think we can still use some rough math to demonstrate that random mutation is incapable of producing the changes that we see in the fossil record and the DNA of life today. As an example, lets look at the genetic difference between humans ...

Re: Atheist question

There is no debate that intelligence is a known cause of design and information. This is based on empirical evidence. There is no empirical evidence of another cause of design and information. That is nothing more than a supposition. This is not an independent arguement, it's just a conclusion of y...

Re: Atheist question

The number of hominini (including genus homo and genus pan) that have ever lived on earth is less than 500 billion or 5x10^9 which is orders of magnitude less than the population size of 3x10^17 required for an 'assumed' mutation path of single mutation to bridge the gap between humans and chimpanz...
