the painful near future

One fact about economic crashes is that the general public does not see them coming. They are simply there when we wake in the morning. Lets look at the current geo-political situation. 1st tier facts: EU has no oil; Russia and US are enemies; none but china has an economy; and the Arabs want Jerusa...

Re: Universal Health Care

the first 5 letters of CIVILization explain my attitude. In Australia the taxes of only 25 million people support the infrastructural of a country the same size as the USA. We have a 1.5% surcharge on our taxes to support our medicare. So little money, so much empathy. By the way, which CIVILized n...

Re: Can God Tell Time?

There is something quite wrong with modern eschatology timelines... (Jesus, to his disciples) Matthew 10:23 – “You shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.” Matthew 16:28 – “Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till t...

Re: A question...

the first thing I see about Jesus being asked about his 2nd coming and the end of the age is that he is surrounded by his core group of followers. So in todays terms that would be you people he is talking to, and not the general population. The 2nd thing I see is that He would be talking in order of...

Re: Matthew 24:34

Jesus means from Abraham to the end of the thousand years after His second coming is One generation and that His purpose for this generation WILL come to fruition. The purpose being to reap a quantity of overcomers to be Kings and Priests to seed Love across the cosmos. These will nurture a quantity...

Re: Leviticus 19:28 says Tatoos are a No No

Scripture says satan looks magnificent whereas Jesus looked unremarkable. At first thought one would think Jesus would be the most elegant, handsome, best looking creature you've ever seen. [Like David Beckham without the tats???] Regarding the commandments, He said if you THINK adulterously you hav...

Re: Delusion?

We know it is the spirit that gets educated by Jesus' clarification of the 10 commandments. Regarding adultery, Jesus said, if you THINK it, you have broken that commandment. The same would apply to theft, coveting, lying etc etc

Re: Critique of "Can Christians Use Drugs?"

Jesus' first miracle was to create wine. The body must not be abused because it is the Temple of the Holy Spirit. If you are dysfunctional to any degree, say, loss of memory or being illogical, you've crossed a line and must change [repent].

Re: Delusion?

The biggest fraud is that each church does not teach the meaning of life. The best they can come up with is " peace, good will amongst men on earth", in which case the 14 billion light years of galaxies are a waste. Romans 8:19>25 says all creation [that would be the universe] groans in an...

D. Cheney is a democrat

Proverbs 7:3 says ' Write them on the tablet of your heart." We have been misreading this for 2700+ years. Some say this is idle waffle in scripture, but we now know this is true. In the 1990's heart transplant scientists began to see something weird. New heart recipients began to take on the c...

Re: Multiverse Theory as Actualization of Ontological Argume

Just off the top of my head.....one of the multiverse theories says you go walking out the front door and turn right; in the next universe you turn left; and the next you go straight ahead, etc etc.. In Rev a real image of a woman sitting on a beast is reflected on earth by a real woman [church] sit...

Re: Atheist: "Do I take my child to church?"

Children are about peer groups. There are so many nasty groups out there that you may as well surround your kid with a group that is taught that LOVE is the answer. This is no guarantee but it's a good start. Scripture says true worship is to help widows and orphans. This means love everybody. It do...
