Re: Luke 13:33
Just a word of caution... Usually people deny Christ's deity, not that he was actually a historical person who lived and died around 2000 years ago. Speaking with someone who denies history, you will probably have a hard time reasoning with him. Indeed, it is like trying to have a meaningful dialog...

Re: Luke 13:33
Thanks for your answers. This verse was brought up by a Muslim, saying that it is proof Jesus did not die. I found this same discussion on an Islamic board just now and a Christian answered this way: "What did Jesus mean when he said that “it is not admissible for a prophet to be destroyed outside ...

Here's another one! http://www.christianitytoday.com/ct/2014/january-february/christ-called-me-off-minaret.html Nabeel Qureshi died of stomach cancer this past September. Mark 4:10-12
"And as soon as He was alone, His followers, along with the twelve, began asking Him about the parables. 11 And He was saying to them, “To you has been given the mystery of the kingdom of God; but those who are outside get everything in parables, 12 in order that while seeing, they may see and not p...

Why were they dropped out of the Canon? Thanks. The Epistle of Barnabas and Shepherd of Hermas were never really a part ...

Re: Hosea 6:6 and Jesus
Here's a good video on sacrifice, and why God didn't desire meaningless sacrifice and what such was to represent. The sacrifice was really only meaningful, so far as the person's heart was in it, they understood the gravity of their sin, and placed faith in such institutions to make them right with...

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life." (John 3:16) "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give eternal life to them, and they shall never perish; and no one shall snatch the...

Re: Hosea 6:6 and Jesus
I Forgot to mention that these is one place I ran into God the Happy torturer and delighter in inflicting of wrath. So, not to malign the Roman Catholic Church, but the truth is that they have in the past taught that God loves to see folks suffer to purify them and throws lightening bolts and smite...

Re: Hosea 6:6 and Jesus
My church is studying one of Brian McLaren's books: "The Great Spiritual Migration." Both Pastors and all the facilitators of the Bible Study programs loved the book. They loved it so much that more Bible Study sessions were opened, some on Saturday for people who could not attend during the week. ...
