I need a friend or someone close.

This is a little trouble that i'm having that is ultimately making me sad. Like the title suggests I need someone close to me. The problem is i'm a little queer (used in it's proper context). The fact is there is no one at Church or at my school who's quite like me. For a few refrences of what I'm l...

Re: My Dad's Argument and My Sister's Stress?

Yeah, I disagree that believing in evolution means that you think everyone is programmed to be homosexual...Could you explain the logic behind that? http://www.amazon.com/Biological-Exuberance-Homosexuality-Natural-Diversity/dp/0312192398 IT's a book that determines animals with homosexual traits. ...

My Dad's Argument and My Sister's Stress?

My father is a "typical" atheist. He believes nothing the Bible says, yet, he doesn't read it. He claims that it contradicts itself. By contradicts itself I mean It says one thing then says another abolshing that for said first law that was there (His Eyes). So what made this argument come...

Judgement Day

A little while ago I had a conversation with my brother-in-law. We were talking about judgement day because it fascinates the both of us. So he told me something, and was wondering if he was right, I went to my mentor (so to speak) and asked him this. "When we die, since time doesn't occur to G...

Re: What are your denominations? and a question I have...

When I was in high school, I began to think about what I believe. I typically had the most difficult questions on Christianity. After high school, I met what ended up being my wife and she was able to answer all the hard questions. I investigated salvation, and I asked her older brother (a youth mi...

My thoughts. Death matter.

Just wanted to get this out here. I have came to a conclusion that makes since in my books, and hopefully your's. If we as Christians, followers of Christ, and die to find out there is no God then no sweat. As for Atheist, If they die living as if there is no God, and die to find out there is a God,...

Re: Where We Go When We Die?

Here's what I was told from multiple people from Church. In Heaven and Hell there is no such thing as Time. So by saying this once we die we automatically get judged, even though there has been a time laps, but we just haven't noticed it becuase there is no Time In God's "time."

What are your denominations? and a question I have...

Okay, to start I do not classify myself as a baptist. I clarify myself as a believer of Jesus Christ. Now that i'm done with that lol. What are your guys's denominations? I'm baptist. Okay now to my question a lot has happened to the Catholic church. But the major one I have seen is their salvation ...

Blasphemy?

Two posts in one day YES. Anyways, Blasphemy from what I grew up to learn was an "unforgivable sin." Yet, when I growing up I was taught that Suicide and Homosexuality will cause you to go to Hell automatically. But when I switched buildings They believed in Eternal Salvation. That contrad...

I'm confused?

Okay, I was reading a post on here about baptism. Like the title says i'm confused. The reason why I am confused is I grew up in church being told that Salvation comes through the belief in Jesus God dieing and raising again. Then being baptised is a sign of loyalty for God. But from reading that po...

Okay I was at school a couple of weeks ago and I overheard this guy talking to his friend about "proof" that God does exist. Now don't get me wrong I believe in the Bible 110%, but there is some things that we have to just believe in faith. In other words some things can be proven, and som...
