Re: I never knew you...

....Technically yes, but they may be self-deceived to some level to call themselves a Christian. Yes, I agree with what you said. They only know the 'jesus' they created in their own imagine and likeness to justify their own desires for self acclaim and to sell their wares... and new doctrines. Som...

Re: Asking God to reveal himself?

I like Hana's chosen words above: " God does not refuse anyone who long for Him. " It is something very inward within a person. Sure an intellectual in-the-head pursuit can be had, but whether or not we truly are honestly pursuing such (and our hearts often deceive even ourselves), an intellectual ...

Re: The world as Satan's kingdom

While Satan is the ruler of the WORLD - he's not the ruler of CHRISTIANS - as ultimately, he has no abilities that Believers are not given the Tool (Christ!) to resist him. People wrongly think the devil has power comparable to that of God. The devil's power is both loaned, limited, and restrained ...

John 3:16,17,18,19,20,21 answers how one can resist... Verse 19 and 20 state why: "And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the l...

Re: The world as Satan's kingdom

The New Living Translation brings out some of the nuances if Isa 44:6,7 which helps explain, why the devil was allowed to challenge God. Isaiah 44:6-7 NLT - New Living Translation 6 This is what the Lord says—Israel’s King and Redeemer, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies: “I am the First and the Last; ther...

Re: The world as Satan's kingdom

Humanity's first parents turned over their governance of this world over to the devil and his minions. Like the article says, Satan governs fallen humanity. Jesus came to reconcile us back to the Lord and breaks that control over the life of His people. The earth, all creation, all angelic beings, a...

Re: Was Jesus Tortured in hell for 3 days and 3 Nights?

Not to mention one has to read into the text that Jesus visited hell. PLUS, remember how Jesus told the Disciples to shake the dust from their feet to anyone that rejected their message - to move on. Jesus would not be preaching a message that was too late - after their deaths - to people already j...

Re: Jesus & The Prophecies

Jews are in Israel right now. Are you saying you are smarter than God on how he should get them there or the time it would take..? More and more are returning everyday.... The third temple is not built yet. When it is, most likely the anti-messiah will be involved not Jesus...Jesus returns latter an...

Re: Jesus & The Prophecies

A mere mortal man?

Is your mind so made up concerning that Christians misinterpret scriptures concerning who Jesus is and all verses prophecy about him, if so, would you consider theses again such as isa 53:1-12.

Re: Jesus & The Prophecies

I’m really struggling with accepting Jesus as the Messiah based on Gods word in the Torah! Jews do not accept Jesus as the messiah because: Jesus did not fulfill the messianic prophecies. Jesus did not embody the personal qualifications of the Messiah. Biblical verses "referring" to Jesus are mistr...

Re: Easy math problem

It's the time of the month that I allow my wife out of the basement for good behavior. So, we are staying in a condo near Destin, FL. So, here's the simple math problem. First one who correctly answers, gets a fruitcake emoticon as reward. We left our home near Jacksonville, FL at 7:35 AM. After st...
