Re: Essence and Existence

Sure! 2+2 Qm particles are would mean that 4 particles are 8 at the same time. Also, if it is a scientific fact, then it is by diefinition not universal and may be false and open to the possibility if it being false. Can you give me an example of the consequences of any instance where scientificlly ...

How Do YOU engage YEC vs. OEC?
You don't. Nothing comes out of that discussion usually. Or evolution vs. creationism for that matter.

Re: Essence and Existence

Any quantum particle exists in [atleast]two states at any given time, Virtualy two realities. Imagine you being in the West and me in Pakistan and we both have a ball in our hand. It is the same ball. So you start bouncing it on the wall and I just put it on the table. So is the ball at rest or is i...

Re: Essence and Existence

Byb, I am enjoying this discussion however, there was a point I'd like to comment on: mathematics,...is a universal truth and its existence must have an explanation independent of the human mind. It is not necessary that: 1. Math is a universal truth It fails on the QM. At the quantum level 1=2, lit...

Re: Pagan Mythology

I am currently reading the Epic of Gilgamesh, and enjoying it. Is it wrong for believers to enjoy Pagan mythology? My argument for it not being wrong is that the writers of the Bible, particularly the Old Testament (Tanakh to me) would use imagery from Pagan mythology to make theological points. Is...

Re: Are violent video games sinful?

People can be evil. "But the things that come out of a person's mouth come from the heart, and these defile them." Matt 15:18 It's not things that make us evil or bad, it is the other way around. You mean it's things that make us bad or evil? I am simply reiterating what the gospel says that it is ...

Re: Are violent video games sinful?

I don't think gaming would be Jesus' concern. For that matter, I don't see Jesus playing super Mario bros. either.
I think games are irrelevant when it comes to be sinful.

Re: Trump: Is his response credible?

Just goes on to show what length the supporters of TRUMP are going to defend him...and the best defence is that so what if he has a shady character...Hillary did it as well. In the immortal words of Heath Ledger, "This town needs a better class of criminals". Hillary "did" have a shady character? U...

Re: Fortnite and PUBG

I agree. The people who opt to play such VR game to find love, meaning or relationships have deeper problems imo. Of course it is not okay if she is committed in a relationship. But then again, it just shows that she wasn't happy apparently and was open to other options. And gaming experiences don'...

Re: Fortnite and PUBG

How is this a moral issue? It is a game, isn't it? With that logic, you could get away with a helluva lot of stuff... I see your point but I find it irrelevant as it changes nothing. Human history is filled with bloodshed and violence and moral dilemmas without video games to help them - which have...
