Re: Atheist question

Kenny, Do you know of any case of information or data coming into existence from nothing? I see information like energy; it's all around us but it requires an intelligent person to extract it for usage. Information is like energy ? Do the information in your cells, in your DNA is like energy? How so?

Re: Does or does NOT God change His mind?

Does God change His mind or does God ALLOW for Humans to persuade Him of another option that He already KNOWS the outcome to? God knows all possible outcomes and whatever path God chooses, He knows the outcome so, perhaps, God allows humans ( in their exercising of free will) to "change" His mind as...

Re: Arguements Against Classical Theism or Deism?

Please read Edward Fesers, "the Five proofs".
https://www.amazon.ca/Five-Proofs-Exist ... 1621641333

Please note that IF you understand classical theism then you must acknowledge that God MUST be Personal, or He can't be God for he would be INFERIOR to a God that is personal.

Re: No such thing as a "gay gene"

Whether homosexuality is nature or nurture, one thing is very clear: it isn't a choice. At no point does a homosexual person say "I think I'll start being attracted to members of the same biological sex now". Treating homosexuality as though its a moral choice in the same way as stealing or somethi...

Re: Atheist question

Since we know from experience that it takes intelligence to create computer and mathematical models for the laws of physics, then we can infer that whatever caused the laws of physics as we understand them to work the way they do in our universe is at least more intelligent than those who create ma...

Re: Atheist question

The big bang theory speaks of space and time as something that has an actual existence. This is a part of the theory I don't understand; it makes no sense to me, I have no idea what that means. I've always thought of space as meaning nothing at all, and time as a system to measure action. But obvio...

Regardless of the data, because the study was funded by an "anti-climate change" organization, people will simply dismiss the data.

Re: Atheist question

If scientific evidence pointed to an intelligent Creator (ie God), why is it that so many of the people who actually studied science are atheists? That is a good question, have you asked them? Yeah; he said there is no scientific evidence for a creator God; thus refuting pretty much everything our ...

Re: Atheist question

Here we go guys. y>:D< Since this has been asked numerous times in different ways I figured I would post this question from a discussion with an atheist. This format is laid out best. You say that Jesus died in both our places. By "His wounds we are healed”. Have you ever really thought about the s...

Re: Something from nothing

The big bang states that the universe started from an event that caused a quantum singularity to start expanding. We do NOT know what caused the expansion, only that the singularity started to expand about 13.5 billion years ago. There is no opinion on what was there, if anything, "before" the singu...

Five genetic variants did appear significantly linked to sexual orientation, and thousands more also seemed involved to a...

You rest your case? What does that even mean? And from your link - United States Childhood Sensuality Circle (CSC).
