Re: The Principle of Sufficient Reason (PSR)

Brute facts explain NOTHING.
The attributes of the classical God explain why He is the answer.

Re: Princeton and Yale Psychiatrist on Demonic Possession

The catholic church keeps detailed records of exorcisms and has a specific process of dealing with them , so it makes sense that they would be the ones referenced in the article. Yes but many of the processes they use are man-made, not Biblical. So it would have no effect on demons. They even state...

Re: The Principle of Sufficient Reason (PSR)

You realize that, simply, the PSR means that humans have the rational ability to reasonably draw conclusions about the world they live in, even in an abstract sense.
To deny that is to deny basic science and the possibility of quantum physics.

Re: What is His name?

I guess to really address the question we must first answer this one: Saved from WHAT? What are believers saved from? Oh... I know that one... Matthew 1:21 Yep and also John 5:19-29 Our salvation is being saved from Judgment on our sins. Those that believe will not be judged, why? Because on belief...

Re: Revelation 2: who is being spoken of in this verse?

One of the issues in Ephesus was that there were some "Christians" preaching that Jesus was not God. It is said that the Apostle John lived in Ephesus and if that is the case, we can understand why John's writings were the most Christological of all the writings we have. It may be the the false apos...

Re: What is His name?

I don't know if OSAS is correct. That would mean that people's ability to choose God is a "one time" thing ( once you believe you can never stop believing). That angels are inferior to humans ( some fell away). I am sure that not everyone believes the same way or to the same degree. I have never be...

Re: Abortion - Irish have done it. Consequences ?

If life is sacred, human life at least, then ALL human life is sacred and since life begins at conception ( just ask NASA, when they look for life on another planet they look for it a the cellular level), then abortion is taking a life and a SIN. The only thing left to discuss is under what conditio...
