Re: $$$ Trust in God???

I think he's right. Also E pluribus unum is a better motto in literally every way. Still, this is silly. It's a trivial issue. If insecure Christians need for our currency to affirm their wavering faith then we really ought to be the bigger people and let it go.
Who is this "one" you refer to?

Re: WLC and the moral argument

I watched a good video recently of William Lane Craig speaking on the case for Christian theism. He mentioned the difference between moral ontology and epistemology, which has been explained on here before in a way I found confusing - that epistemology refers to what is right and wrong, while ontol...

Re: Many Atheists DO Believe in the Supernatural

You know why there can ONLY be One first cause and that has to do with the attributes that a first cause MUST have, remember? It must be PURE ACTUALITY or else something can effect cause on it. And why can’t there be multiple eternal causes causing effect upon each other? It must be Eternal and all...

Re: This can't be good!

As a quick aside, when atheists talk about how God is a terrible communicator this is what we mean. You guys are all devout Christians. You're all completely sincere in your beliefs. And here you all are, espousing diametrically opposed interpretations of the same words from the same sources. And w...

Don't you realize how cheap a box of condoms is?
Condoms have been known to break. I suspect that the best birth control is his personality.

Re: This can't be good!

Those are two good pieces of legislation. I might have to think about considering the possibility of maybe revising my opinion of Ted Cruz. Also, the beard makes him look a lot less like a newbie shapeshifter that can't quite do human faces. I would agree with that legislation. Birth control should...

Re: Many Atheists DO Believe in the Supernatural

Why only “A” first cause? Why not multiple first causes? We have discussed this before, quite a bit. You know why there can ONLY be One first cause and that has to do with the attributes that a first cause MUST have, remember? It must be PURE ACTUALITY or else something can effect cause on it. Re: Possibility

EX: Until a black swan was seen, it would be correct to say that the existence of a black swan was not probable. You couldn't say it was impossible UNLESS you could be everywhere and see everything and KNOW it was impossible OR if the existence of a black swan was a logical contradiction- like a squ...

T-level for trans-athletes are still 3X higher that what is allowed for biological females. Not to mention the estrogen therapy can benefit men transitioning to women and participating in fighting sports. Re: Have we crossed the line yet?

In short: We don't know enough about the long term issues of Gender-identity disorders and for the WHO and others to come out with a absolute statement like that is irresponsible. Side note: If someone identified themselves as amputee and chopped of an arm, I am sure that their mental health would b...
