Evidence for God from Science

My grandfather identifies as a Baptist. I suppose at this point in my life, I'm just not sure what I believe. I've read so much about various issues facing modern religion, and I suppose I just don't what to do at this point. I'm certainly feeling lost at this stage.

An atheist tried to tell me that the law of identity proves that God doesn't exist if He is infinite. I tried to 'see' what he was talking about but to no avail. Has anyone else heard this?

This argument is vehemently denied by the atheists I know. They always say how I must be wrong because people of all religions claim to have personal experiences. In most cases, the atheist will say it's only delusion, like you pointed out. That's my take.

If name-calling and verbal abuse is immoral like Katsuya says, and I would agree with that idea, then most atheists I know are immoral, and they see no problem with it.

In a debate with an atheist, i linked tgis site to him. He immediately dismissed apologetics entirely. It seemed to me like tge only thing he would accept is a literal interpretation of the bible. How can you dismiss apologetics, tgen claim a default victory?
