Where exactly did this idea sprout up? Who's the mastermind? The atheists are already using this movement as an example of Christians being stupid and cheated out of their money so what do you guys think?

One theory I've always pondered that relates to this is, couldn't the reason they're so close in terms of DNA be because one being aka God created them both?

I agree Gman, how can any sane person happily accept the existential implications of naturalism and or atheism? I just don't see how. And I've asked many of them over the past few years how they cope with the implications and all I get are cheap answers like "just live for the moment" or ...

Is there any bigger breeding ground for hatred of religion? I always feel obligated to read the comments, and almost always, 90% of the comments are atheists saying Christians are wrong and stupid and everything else. Does anybody ever get discouraged by this?

But what about the people thousands of years ago? Marriage in the form it is now did not exist in early biblical times. So is it possible that people are " married" if they've made the 'commitment' to each other already, it just hasn't been finalized by the law?

What makes a person atheist? I have one friend who fell into the God doesn't exist because good people suffer argument, and another who is militant for an unknown reason. An answer from a current atheist or former atheist would be good.

If the Bible is truly God's word, then why are there so many translations? The most common atheist argument seems to be along the lines of this topic.
