Props for anyone that remembers what TV shows this( the fail rate of condoms) came from
Myth Busters.
Friends, when Ross gets Rachael pregnant.
Friends? That’s not a serious show.
Of course it's not a "serious" show. It's a comedy.

Re: Gimme a break!

No more horseback for Annette! Heal fast! Watch the painkillers! No more bikes, either. And while we're at it, you should probably not ride a bus, you may fall off that too. This is where I'd usually tell you to stay in the kitchen, but with your track record, you should probably stay away from ele...

Re: Many Atheists DO Believe in the Supernatural

Because if it changes it's affected by something else. If it's affected by something else it can't be the first cause. I am arguing about the possibility of multiple things acting upon each other while being a first cause. Why isn't that possible? Seriously? I just posted the answer to this in post...

Re: WLC and the moral argument

If I did that, I would just be preachin' to the Choir along with everyone else. There is no shortage of views here that are opposite of mine. There is a shortage of views like mine. Kenny, I'm not saying you need to agree with someone else's argument. I'm saying that you should make it a point to u...

Re: WLC and the moral argument

Wow! It's like you took the words right out of my mouth! Kenny, What I've shown you there, is how someone can understand a differing point of view, and present that differing point of view, without arguing against a straw man. So that way, both sides know that the differing point of view is underst...

Re: WLC and the moral argument

Paul, You seem to be saying that we cannot discuss what is right, and what is wrong, unless we first acknowledge that things are in fact morally right or morally wrong. Which I agree with. But, the issue is where morality comes from. Someone like Kenny says that there is such a thing as morality, b...

Re: This can't be good!

They fail 97% of the time and that is when you use them PROPERLY. When condoms are used properly, they do not fail 97% of the time. Where on earth did you get that statistic? Is says so right on the box. I think you have your percentages backwards. Perhaps you read the box wrong. Probably says 97% ...

Don't you realize how cheap a box of condoms is? Condoms have been known to break. I suspect that the best birth control is his personality. Re: Many Atheists DO Believe in the Supernatural

Again Kenny, Here's the explanation from Byblos, that you either cannot refute, or refuse to acknowledge. From the discussion here Ken The reason is very simple and very logical (and I and Jac have stated it many timers before, in this thread and others). But it keeps coming up again and again so I ...

Philip, I'm going to have to disagree with much of what you said :) I think we are just going to have to agree to disagree on this one... I'll leave you with this video on false grace by Dr Michael Brown with questions by Sid Roth. Watch it as time permits. zUgHCAneqak Stu, It helps if you show Phi...
