Re: Yeah, Mr. Hawking passed away, and...

As opposed to a rational disbelief, as he claims, it looks instead as if Hawking had an emotional, angry reasoning behind his rejection of God. But to echo K on building relationship and conversations that might be used by God to bring people to faith - or at least to sow some seeds that might one ...

Re: Brother ill

Thanks so much for your prayers, everyone! My brother is now finally home with a cane and an antibiotic drip - they will monitor the infection while trying this for six weeks. His surgeon wanted to amputate at least his toe. His doctor wanted him to try to cure the infection first - and as it's not ...

Re: The Toolbox argument against Intelligent Design

Paul: Genesis states that Man, like all other animals came from the earth. But that's an incomplete statement, as man was made AFTER the animal kingdom was completed, and in the image of God, as opposed to how the animals were created, each after it's own kind. Scripturally, there is a huge disconn...

Re: The Toolbox argument against Intelligent Design

Well, I've always said the true link between so many similar forms is God / Jesus, it's His code, His designs, sliced, diced and tweaked however He might have created the differences amidst the grand diversity of life forms. But clearly Scripture refutes man evolved from the animal world! DNA differ...

Re: The Toolbox argument against Intelligent Design

DB: This means that the Darwinian processes of random mutation and natural selection alone are incapable of producing the genetic differences we see between species in the fossil record and in life today. And to the above, I can hear the entrenched, emotional evolutionists out there shrugging and s...

Re: The Toolbox argument against Intelligent Design

My, my, how extraordinarily complex must have been the supposed evolutionary mechanisms blindly stumbled upon by non-intelligent things, and how utterly dependent they would have been upon just the right things and conditions somehow brilliantly coming into existence 11 or so billion years before. I...

Re: Brother ill

Looks like they are sending my brother home with a antibiotic catheter drip. He says they give him a 50% chance of eliminating the infection and preventing toe removal. He told me he and his "pinky" greatly appreciate your prayers!

Re: A Re-Post on Calvinism

My take is that he’s cherrypicked Scriptures to fit an unScriptural theological construct based upon the logic of men! BTW, BOTH Arminians and Calvinists make this mistake! What God predestined was that He so would save all who would be willing - WITH HIS HELP - to begin to be drawn toward loving Hi...

A Re-Post on Calvinism

Love without free will? Not possible. Hell - just our refusing of God... Yes, forced love is NOT love! Was just thinking about this - the very fact that God is sovereign AND He actually hates the very sins He nonetheless has chosen to allow us the freedom to commit (but for a limited period) - that...
