Re: Pope: GOD made people gay

Rick: And even if Cruz was accurate with what the pope said, being gay, or having an attraction to the same sex, certainly isn't the same as having gay sex. So again, even if it's an accurate account of the pope's words, he didn't condone homosexual behavior, as much as telling a guy that was abuse...

Re: Pope: GOD made people gay

The Pope's past comments are certainly in line with this guy's attestment as to what he was told by him. But let's see if he refutes it. Just like his last comments about hell - a PC statement was issued by the Vatican - but the pope was never quoted to have clearly addressed the issue, particularly...

Re: Marriage - It's an Institution

So how can someone, in today's society, tell that their marriage is brought together and it is in-line with God's will ? Well, in the first place, God's will for us is that A) we have free will and B) that we are to enact our free will according to the principles derived from His teachings . If we ...

Pope: GOD made people gay

http://www.foxnews.com/world/2018/05/21/pope-francis-reportedly-tells-gay-man-god-made-that-way-and-loves.html If this story is accurate as reported and the Pope believes gay people were created by God to be so, then what does he think about the denouncements of such behavior in Scripture, as to ho...

Not my friends. Lot of grace coming from them ;)
That's good to know, Hana.

Re: What is His name?

Melanie: But.......you kinda wanna believe in the ‘true’ version of Christianity otherwise your not really saved anyway. Then why did Jesus say this to be the truth? Did He lie? Did He not ever say these things? Were the apostles ALL confused about this as well? And if knowing about Jesus and embra...

Re: Yanny or Laurel Debate?

I can't believe it - just listened and I repeatedly hear Laurel. I think someone is messing with me!

Now I can just hear defense attorneys all over thinking, "Mr. Smith only THOUGHT the only witness to the murder, identified Him is "Yanny" - surely it was actually, "Laurel." y:-?

Mel: because you’ve lots of diversity and ‘experience’ 😉 Mel - surely that's not your sly way of saying I'm OLD, is it? Just say I'm mature - ah, er, well, I'm no Ricko, but that's not a good description of me either. :pound: Oh, I forgot, before my communications career, I worked in the zoo...

Re: Jac3510

Mel: always wanted to be a journalist, is that what you do now? I started out as a magazine editor and public affairs specialist. I later moved into advertising and marketing in a variety of industries - I did marketing for a large museum, many years in commercial real estate, investments, and now,...

Re: What is His name?

Mel: I think that for many Christian’s their biggest downfall is being too concerned with who’s on the guest list that they forget Jesus was sacrificed for those he was willing to have seated on His. While I certainly agree this is true for many people. But the fact is, it is JESUS who asserted tha...

Paul: I don't know if we can hold the view that upon rebelling, divine beings lose their status as sons of God

All through Scripture, there is a contrast of those whom are God's children, and those who clearly are not. I can't imagine God considering demons his sons - not in any way.

Re: Jac3510

Mel, that's so great that you are mostly pain free. When I first got late-stage Lyme disease, I was told by so many that I'd probably have it my whole life and that I might as well get used to living in physical misery. Like you, I refused to buy into it. I thought, God has control - and if he wants...

Re: Yanny or Laurel Debate?

Rick: And now when I play it back again, I hear laurel, not yanny.
This kind of blows my mind - it must be that there are frequencies I'm not hearing - it's almost SUPERNATURAL! :P
