Questions for God???

If you could ask just two questions of God (that He would definitely answer) - with one being a serious question and perhaps rather silly, what would they be?

I'll go first:

Serious: Why do You allow the suffering of innocents?

Silly: Why is my wife not more logical in how she thinks? :P

Time Travel Theoretically Possible? If so - what of Free Will?

https://cdn.lowgif.com/full/a6567f269264cbde-.gif Interesting article about time travel, mathmatics, free will, and the "Grandfather Paradox." But while theoretically possible, the physics involved in the travel itself would make it impossible. Like a lot of conjecture often bandied about that refe...

Re: Praying to Jesus?

Christian 2: So, is it OK to pray to Jesus or not? In the first place, yes, we can pray to God – as Jesus IS God! http://www.godandscience.org/cults/jesus.html Should we worship Jesus? http://www.godandscience.org/cults/worship.html But should we PRAY to Jesus? We certainly CAN: https://www.thegosp...

So, what, exactly, is APOLOGETICS?

I thought I'd post this ( https://www.bethinking.org/apologetics/an-introduction-to-christian-apologetics ) explaining what Christian apologetics is all about. It is NOT to apologize, per what the term suggests, but is instead a discipline that is a defense of the Christian faith and the Bible to th...

Re: Adam and Eve

DB: I agree with many of the thoughts you shared in your post. It's interesting how many Christians have never thought about this issue, in the context of modern scientific analysis - apparently without being aware of the discrepancy (between the wide number of ancient dates given for modern man an...

Re: Adam and Eve

DB: Archaeology and genetics both tell us that biologically modern humans (species homo sapiens sapiens - ie us) existed 150,000 to 200,000 years before the Biblically established timeframe for Adam and Eve (5,000 - 6,000 BC) . The interesting thing here is that the Scriptural sequence of events in...

Nessa: I am sure Hitler was sincere in his beliefs. Of course, Hitler was quite sincere about what he believed - at least privately! https://static.timesofisrael.com/atlantajewishtimes/uploads/2020/05/NEWS-Pope-Pius-Hitler-and-Catholics-5-31-20-640x400.png It's interesting, as most people assume Hi...

DBowling: This lecture by Gary Habermas is one of my favorite discussions on the historical reality of the Resurrection of Jesus https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ay_Db4R ... sdxQnNSthB DB, that is an excellent analysis of the Resurrection evidence - especially as it is shown how well and MUCH closer...

Questions and doubts unbelievers have about Christianity

From the article at the bottom, these are some top reasons that keep people from belief in God / Christ. I'm curious, which one or ones do you most typically encounter and how do you respond? I hear numbers 1 and 3 a lot, and a lot asserting scientific evidence disproves the Bible. 1. Why is there e...
