Hey guys,
I'm doing a little bit of research on other sources outside of the Bible that mention or make a reference to Jesus, and I was wondering if any of you guys knew of some sources or ducuments, so please post some!

I think this example shows that there can be a time to lie. I've heard a pastor or two say that we should never lie, not even little "white lies." But given the example here, I disagree. To save an innocent life, say, I think it's better to lie if necessary than to let the person die. It ...

You are no doubt referring to the story of Rahab, the Canaanite prostitute, who lied to save the lives of Joshua's spies (Joshua 6). She was then blessed by God. Exactly! I once heard a story from the old testament, i can't remember where, sorry, well, someone lied to save a couple people's lives, and God rewarded the liar. Well, I'm pretty sure Isaiah 35 and Isaiah 53 are messianic prophecies. :D

The church I'm in numbers about 60,000 worldwide I don't mean to intrude, but what church is that? Those who say that tongues is the only sign that one can show they are a true beleiver
Lets say someone says "hey lets go speak in tongues", and they do,would that be considered a true case of tongues?

So is speaking in tongues something that you have control over or not? (for example: someone once told me that you just start babeling nonsense and once you start babeling the Holy Spirit will take over) Is that true? I thought the whole speaking in tongues thing was to bring non-believers to Christ...
