I believe the Bible says something about flesh and blood shall not enter into heaven. Yet when Jesus died, his grave was empty thus no body. If his body (flesh and blood) did not go to Heaven, where did it go? Ken There are those Christians who believe our physical bodies are resurrected and then J...

Re: Great video series for Old Earth Creationism

It is true re: Meyers skepticism so-far-as universal common descent is concerned, that is, a continuity between all life. Yet, he does accept a limited common descent. To quote his response in the Kansas trial : Q. Do you accept the general principle of common descent that all life is biologically r...

Re: Great video series for Old Earth Creationism

Many do not know what they're talking about when it comes to Meyer and Behe. They believe the evidence strongly supports common descent, and don't disregard evolution per se , which is something many mistakenly think about them. What they do challenge that certain biological systems happened via pur...

Re: Great video series for Old Earth Creationism

I tend to care less about the Genesis creation than what I did years ago, and am content with an umbrella of views. There are so many avenues one can take, the important part as I see is that the person is taken in and absorbed by Scripture and investigating it in a manner honest with their own cons...

Further, is B.W.'s statement really that far off the truth Ed? Consider the challenge that gets made that the Bible contains "hate speech". What of the following articles? https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/02/05/preacher-locked-hate-crime-quoting-bible-gay-teenager/ https://www.lifesitenews.com/...

Re: China demolishes hundreds of churches and confiscates Bibles during a crackdown on Christianity

What you consider "liberal" is a guise given any liberty issues doesn't matter when it pertains to Christians. It seems to me that you've always tended to side against certain reported events to do with Christians. Take, for example, the Christian cake maker, and various other instances pertaining t...

Guilt by association perhaps with an idealogy that isn't particularly Christian friendly, as is evident by always towing the line against Christians on reported events in news.

Re: Domestic Abuse

I can't understand how some Christians think it's okay for domestic abuse victims to stay with their abusers. I do believe people can change but shouldn't people being abused leave for safety? I mean is divorce really a sin if a person is abused I'll just say I'm Christian and think it is okay. Not...

My view on the death penalty is simple:
Death is a release, not a punishment.
For some anyhow. Waking up to thy maker would be quite scarey for many, especially as the truth dawns on them.

Re: Tommy Robinson Arrested

As for the Tommy Robinson case, here is what the judgement summary reported ( https://www.judiciary.uk/judgments/r-v-stephen-yaxley-lennon-aka-tommy-robinson/ ): The court agrees that the judge should not have commenced the hearing of contempt proceedings that day. Once the appellant had removed the...

Re: Tommy Robinson Arrested

What I see here is the media having its field day and that sad moment when independent thought is hijacked by hysteria. I couldn't agree more. The Muslims are not taking over anything apart from maybe your kebab shop. I love kebabs, and many owners always seem very friendly especially when they see...
