Re: Who Knows

I take a different approach than Mel's to the post-modern dilemma. Properly aligned and honed, one's reason and heart is truth-conducive rather than contrary to such. It is true some people are more correct in their beliefs than others. As for faith, such is a necessary component to having a practic...

Re: Does Suicide = Hell ?

I lean towards the 'maybe go to hell' group on suicide because otherwise Christians might think they can just get to heaven by committing suicide, and I would want to discourage that kind of thinking. Re: Is Jesus God? And Why it Matters.

So would someone please explain to my why God would ask God whay has he forsaken himself??? Do you believe it would be impossible for God to be born into our world in human form? As for a response to your own question. Do you not know that Jesus is making a direct quote of Psalm 22:1 where it says,...

Really, I'm primarily interested in Ed's thoughts. However, anyone else feel free to opine.

Re: Kanye West's Church Services

Is God both Righteous and Loving? Blessed, if you're going to lean into God's righteousness, then we're all in a sticky position because we're all deserving of God's righteous wrath. Unless you are saying you're righteous enough to meet God's standard, or that some of us are? Perhaps you should go i...

Re: Kanye West's Church Services

Didn't you watch him with James Corden ? He reads the Bible after kids are in bed. Perhaps it is to the shame of Christian "leaders" to date, that God uses someone so brand new. Seems to me God is using him to harvest many such just can't reach. There are flaws I see, but God makes do with flawed ve...

What is wrong with quid pro quo? Perhaps it's the content of one's exchange that matters.
