A vital point you mention, Sugaa. Quite a large portion of them seem to dissolve once a good knowlege of those languages is obtained and you read the originals.

The curiosity is killing me here. How many christian folks on this forum once considered themselves atheists or agnostics? The reason I ask is because I am entertaining the thought of maybe starting a website where former non-theists could gather, relate to each other, "compare notes", etc.

Even if an ape were to be observed lighting fires; to automaticly assume that that means there is no God would be commiting a logical fallacy. It would only prove that apes are smarter than we once thought. Intelligence is not the defining factor as to what makes us "special" in God's eyes.
