Is it faith or foolishness to go to Afganistan for evangelis

8 Korean Christians were abducted & 1 reportedly killed by the Teleban who's intention is to trade for prisoner.

Should the Christians have gone in the 1st place, with the knowledge that the security there is very unstable?

...since humans are animals, it doesn't make much sense to me. Humans are far more than animals. They have art, religion, reason, morality, and a soul. My SS class was covering the Doctrine of man when the question about the differences between animals & man came up. I'm not convince from the Bible...

I get frustrated when some church members uses the "doctrine" term lossely especially on areas that may be silent in the bible "e.g. music style" & things that different denomination might practise differently e.g. open vs close or closed communion. Recently, I introduced the idea of delinking memb...

Doctrine vs Practise

I hear lot's of people telling me that this is doctrine & that is doctrine & they are the unchangeable. But often, I find some of the area raised seems more like pte interpretation. Where to we draw the lines between fundamental doctrines that are held by "most" Christian churches, vs differences in...

The issue of the two becoming one is germaine, in my opinion. There is a taint of sin for all humanity that comes from the original fall. That was the purpose of Christ's incarnation outside of "normal" conception. If Sin was an issue and necessitated Christ's being conceived by the Holy Spirit, ho...

Received another input. The purpose of marriage is for procreation, companionship as well as for the woman to be a helpmeet. Jesus being perfect does not need all the above. As a result, Jesus marriage will defy theology....or it would be a meaningless "exercise" for Him....Hmmm Off the top of my h...

During Jesus ministry on earth, was the power coming out of His own human body, or was the power provided by the Father & He by faith exercised it? If the latter, how do we explain the case where the woman with the issue of blood was healed after touching Him? He said He sense power leaving Him...d...

of course there is evidence that he didnt get married, and its scripture. there are two reasons i give people, here they are: 1. Man sins. the woman was desived, and so the man was the one that did the first sin. Sin is carried down by the man, not the woman. hence the reason Jesus was born by a ve...

Does Jesus Marriage Negate His Deity

1st I know there are no evidence to support Jesus marriage. Yet there are also no direct scriptural reference that says He was not married. Thus, in the court of law, neither position can be proven beyond reasonable doubt. Now let's suppose He has. Does it impact Christian theology or His deity 1 bi...

Are unsaved roaming outside the new Jerusalem

I think we all "know" they don't & are in hell, but what do u make of this: Rev 22:14 Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and that they may enter the city by the gates. 15 Outside are the dogs and sorcerers and fornicators and murderers and idolat...
