Re:
I have a bit of a theory, Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit are all of one mind. I don't believe that they are the same being but three aspects of the same idea. a lot like water-> you can have ice, you can have water and you can have steam. but it's that same concept, just as a man and woman become o...

Re:
So do you mean that I cannot teach anything at my Bible studies because men are present and I have no husband? That depends on where you hold your bible studies. Are they at a church or at your home? While the bible states no women are allowed to speak at church, I don't think this applies at home....

Re: holidays
Of course we don't know what day it was...so what? We celebrate His birth! Not His birth on some specific day!! and His birth is an INCRDIBLE thing to celebrate. God incarnated?!?! Yeah, I'll celebrate that Just for clarity, Jenwat3 does not believe in the trinity nor (if I'm not mistaken) in the d...

Through Christ's death, obviously, we are saved. Although I'm not sure what this has to do with Saturday.zoegirl wrote:Jenwat,

How do our filthy rags become righteous? How do we become saved from our sin? And what role does Christ play in our saving?

Re: The true religion
Again, what verse tells you it is saturday?!?!? I believe it is at the end of Luke. If we take Sunday as the resurrection day, the order of the days in Luke, between Christ's death and resurrection, put his disciples following Saturday Sabbath. That being said, i completely agree that the day is ir...

Good grief, I'm not offended (unless I haven't read all of your replies ;-) I certainly disagree with your theology, but we can discuss that without being offended personally Hope none of my replies have given offense. When I reply sometimes I go all terse and analytical, forgotting that the comput...

This message is for Zoegirl and all others that I may have offended in my replies. I apologize if I am offending anyone. That is not my intention, and I am sorry if I come across too strong. I love you all and hope you accept this apology. God bless

Re: Where does it all end?
One thing I'd like to say about the last post. If you notice, Jesus never spoke of hell to people who weren't already sure it existed. That's because Jesus knew that you are never going to convince someone there's hell if they don't believe in God or anything. So if someone isn't sure about the end...

Re: The true religion
The only true day of worship is Saturday. Many may think I'm crazy, but God himself said that the Sabbath would be a "sign between Him and His people." Yes, the Sabbath was made for man, and Jesus called Himself "Lord of the Sabbath". One thing I can say is that the Sabbath comm...

Ok, I appreciate eveyone's input and enjoy reading everyones view of things. But I am not a JW, nor do I read the watchtower. I tend to follow the beliefs of the Restored Church of God. This is not a denominational church, but our belief system goes strictly by the bible doctrines. And I am not tryi...

If I get asked to read a book, I simply ask them to read o...

This would be a good start to look at orthodox Christianity. The basics, I guess you would call them... http://www.godandscience.org/beliefs.html Ok, I looked at this. I'm NOT trying to be difficult, or dumb, but I still dont understand the meaning of "orthodox" christianity. Please be pa...

Re: The true religion
Again, what verse tells you it is saturday?!?!? Genesis says the seventh day, not "saturday". You speak severely of tradition and yet it is only tradition that holds to saturday or sunday. We have absolutely no clue what day of the week God created on, nor does this really speak of the me...
