Re: Obama - what does this mean?
No one is perfect...understood. I agree with you, however the nature of politics is to appease as many as possible while remaining neutral to all...hense the reason one cannot find one honest politician because if he supports a ban on abortion, yet supports legal alcohol...how is the line drawn bet...

Re: Obama's Abortion Extremism
Same here, I knew some of this in bits and pieces but nothing compared to the article!
How can anyone devalue life to such a degree??
Thanks again Mrs K.

Re: Obama - what does this mean?
So in regards to the nature of politics, this raises another question, that of whether a true Christian should involve himself/herself so deeply into politics. Either vote is a vote in sin as there are no honest politicians. But that's a subject for another thread. That is true, but the same can be...

Re: Obama - what does this mean?
Gman Over 49 million unborn babies have been killed since Roe v Wade legalized abortion in January 1973. (Source: Abort73, but other sites confirm - Google abortion statistics .) Approx. 1.2 million unborn babies are killed each year, about 3,300 per day. Compare that to how many were killed and in...

I'm praying for you Obsolete.
I've been in doubt before, and I've been very busy for long periods of time.
What I found was that our Savior will go with us (anywhere) to help us overcome all obstacles.

Re: Obama - what does this mean?
I've been feeling sick more and more lately along with my wife over this issue. Maybe moreso now because we have a baby and another little one due 7 months. That and perhaps we seem to be confronted more and more with this horrible issue. I think my wife and I can relate to that in a way...we have ...

Hi MrsK
I don't know what it was like when you were here before,
but now, it seems the atheists don't hang around very long.
Welcome.

Re: Obama - what does this mean?
Meh... and then there was a move in Australia for us to do the same thing [give tax dollars to murder babies in third world countries]. It really sickens me and makes me wonder at times why God even bothers with us. I'd just want to bring it all to an end now if I were Him. Who can understand the p...

Re: Hunting, yes or no?
Death by a close quarters weapon does not have to be slow...or painful, why do you think people had to pay the executioner to have the axe blade sharpened? That is my point. Back in my hunting days, I used archery tackle and found it to be more humane than rifles or shotguns. A bow and arrow is a c...

Re: Hunting, yes or no?
How about limiting hunting only to overpopulated species...and only allowing weapons like hunting knifes I agree. Killing a deer with a six-inch hunting knife would be so much more humane and allow the deer to fight back! ...to kick hunters in the head, so to speak. Hey! the resultant serious injur...

Re: Hunting, yes or no?
Here in Canada, we can get boar, moose, deer, bison, quail and partridge at the grocery store. These come packaged in little styrofoam trays and apparently grow in the supermarket's various refrigerated display counters. This is far more civilized than Cross.eyed's point-and-shoot method where he v...
